@Title
I don't say that.
I merely say that everyone is entitled to an opinion. |

We can agree to disagree on the show, but I can pretty much agree with you all on the basis that the fandom is worse than Portal's.
Love the show, and I'm almost sad to say that because if a Brony can't answer a question I present them about the show, I pretty much criticize them more than you people do.
Also, "And then she started singing. Forever against."
It's not easy to get over stuff like that, but once you do the show is good. Then it gets better.
And better.
And then your mind gets blown at the very notion that you are watching My Little Pony, and it's amazing. |

Right. It's by no means supposed to be universally liked, I just don't understand why people hate the show for it's community. Didn't happen with Portal.
I don't know if any of you were there for Cake is a Lie jokes... *shivers* |

The show is horrible and has no point, the creator is horrible... the only show I like by her is fosters home for imaginary friends. That's it.

| It didn't happen with Portal because Portal is age appropriate for teenagers. MLP:FiM is just kind of... strange for a teenager to watch. I know most of you aren't watching like... ironically. You ACTUALLY enjoy the show. To anyone who isn't a brony - That's really weird. If you saw someone playing Portal and enjoying it, it wouldn't be weird. |

| @Pieguardian, It's weird because the teenage boy isn't supposed to be liking magical talking ponies. That's not manly in the slightest and leads people to question why on earth is he watching something so feminine; they must be weird. I can understand that, because I thought this as well. Really when I watched an episode there was nothing that I could find very feminine or childish about it. Sure the cast is mostly female and it's based off of a toy franchize that makes the toy for that specific age and gender group, but that was it. I thought the show would be like every other girls cartoon, with the obsession of rainbows, butterflies, tea parties, make-overs, etc. The type of stuff you'd want to bring a chain gun to and rip to shreds. This show has a complete lack of that, and instead of having episodes whose plot is "who can give the best make over?" or rubbish like that, you got plots that follow more closely to "how are we going to save the town?". It's really not as girly as it seems I think. Just because it's not manly doesn't mean you can't watch it like Spongebob or Fairly Odd Parents isn't. Also I'm not saying that everyone should like it. Not everyone likes Spongebob, not everyone like the Fairly Odd Parents. This show is no exception to that. When the producer Lauren Faust made this show, her audience that she wanted to attract was families rather than only just little girls. Of course the main focus was little girls, she still wanted it to be likable for unfortunate family members who would be forced to watch it with their children, even if that family member happened to be the father. I feel she did an excellent job of doing just that, so I see nothing odd with anyone watching it for entertainment no matter what gender or age they are. I don't think the "it's for little girls" should be a factor for whether it comes to liking it or not. If the humor, plot, characters, songs, or if there is anything else about it that you like, then watch it. If not then don't. |

@Gordon My sympathies, friend. You are apparently too lazy to read less than a page of text.
And on top of that, you quite obviously haven't seen it. |
