When you stop a project, then you pick it back up months (a year) later and add something you obviously didn't plan for when you originally wrote it? I rewrited a large portion of my GUI cause I added something new.

| Well, my code is fairly neat and self explanatory, so it's not too difficult to pick up where I left off after long periods of time. |

| Well when I went from Catalog Heaven 1 to Catalog Heaven 2 I pretty much had to rewrite all the code just because I had forgotten it. (I keep my code in my memory for the most part, that's how I understand it) |

@Mustyoshi My coding style has really been maturing in the past year or so, but I can typically pick up an old project and work on it some.
A lot of times, though, when I've built a rather complex framework, but didn't account for the possibility of a specific feature (like you said) I either recode everything, or make drastic changes to the engine for things to work out. |

| I hate it when they remove things. Like the G string. Messed up a lot of my scripts. |

| I don't usually have to, I usually try to make all my code neat enough so I can understand it later on, because I get bored of Roblox and sometimes coding altogether quite frequently, so I need to be able to come back after awhile and start back up on projects often. But of course I have had to do this many times before, I'm sure everyone has, and it sucks when I have to. :/ |

Pfft, I almost never go back and update something unless I learned something new. Then I update it for pure efficiency.

Similar to what Sundown said, if I return to a project, I usually make it more efficient.
When I started programming, I had a team changing GUI with a regular script in each of the 5 buttons...
(Comes back months later, uses one local script instead).

| All of my old projects are either too badly coded or too uninteresting for me to want to continue. |

I laughed so hard at Flaming's post.
Not only does it make no sense in a scripting context and looks like he just is trying to show off, but if I'm not mistaken he's actually talking about something that could get him banned. |

| I was working on my website, but later decided to make it a 2D game instead of just pages, so I ended up rewriting everything, still am. |

@Bad I started making a website, then I totally recoded it, and then I totally ditched it. Yay for short attention spans!

"I've probably rewritten my camera like 5 times now." It's funny, because when people see a place like that, they think it's hax and impossible. However, anyone that knows raycasting can figure out how it's done, no help what-so-ever.
My camera, no where near as good or efficient as yours, is only 25 lines and that includes the creation of the gui (pixels). |

Which is exactly why I said it was much better than mine... No offence taken, obviously. |

| that's like going up to, say, an aeroplane just because it has wheels and saying "Well I can make a scooter, so anyone should be able to do this without help. I've made a scooter but it isn't as good as yours." |
