Why? The other topic is getting messy and I think its a good idea to have another topic about the ideas, to split stuff up.
Here is the form first, to copy it fast for our fast idea givers :)

To summarize everything we have now:

-->Ideas topic (This topic) Is for: Posting ideas and suggestions for the game, aswell suggestions for changes in the game (ex, make pickaxe recipe instead of this, that).
Q: How do I post an idea? In order to have your idea being processed by us, we dont want to lose a lot of time because your idea is not organized. Use our Idea for to fill it in. That is more efficient for us to read, so we can bring up updates more faster! Thanks!
Q: Why is my idea not in the game? We cannot bring all ideas into the game. In general, the ideas are being tested on 3 things:
1) Realism Is the idea realistic(= can be in real life)? If not, then it most likely will not in the game, with some exceptions tough. Example what can be in the game: Shovel. Example what will probably never be in the game: Flying rainbow ponies.
2) Balance Is the idea balanced(=not that some people on the game have huge benefits)? If not, then it most likely will not be in the game. Example what can be in the game: Club. Example what will probably never be in the game: Nuke that kills and destroys whole server.
3) The Stranded test. This is the final test for the idea. Is it in Stranded-like style? Most ideas are, with some exceptions. For this, we test the idea to, for example, the story of the game aswell the whole meaning behind the game. Example what can be in the game: Shovel, Club. Good Stranded style, so good idea. Also balanced and realistic. Example what will porbably never be in the game: On the start of a server there are ships on the ocean where you can scrap metal off. Why wont this be in the game? The story goes that NO ONE ever has be in the Bermuda Triangle (where the game takes place). So, it doesnt add up when there are ships.
Also, as last, we always decide if something will be in the game. We can still refuse an idea when its for example to difficult or doesnt add a lot to the game. Also, we have lives, so we cannot build and script on the rate you send ideas in. Have patience. So, to summarize it:
The idea must be realistic, balanced, must have the Stranded-style in it and we developers ALWAYS can refuse an idea.
Q: Why does it take so long to review my idea? As I said, we have lives too. We cannot be always on Roblox. Every developer is authorized to review an idea, however my review will always be the end review. You can always appeal tough, so dont worry (we are not that huge bureaucrats, and I am not a dictator too! ;) )
Q: How do I find out if someone is a developer? In our official group when someone is ranked Developer or Super Developer he/she is a developer. However, some developers are not in the group or not ranked under that yet. If you want to be SURE someone is a developer, check the profile of StrandedEpisode1 and check if he/she is friends with StrandedEpisode1. If yes, he/she is a developer.

Q: What is the Stranded idea form I have to fill in?
This is it. Copy it and write your idea in it, otherwise we most likely will NOT process your idea. This will maximize efficiency!

Q: Can you tell me in-depth what everything is? Of course!
--> Name Write the name of your idea here. Keep it short. Like this we will have IMMEDIATELY an idea of what your idea can be :) Good name: Bread Bad name: Yellow bread with a lot of spickles on it that can be eaten by humans but also by animals and oh its also used to throw on other people because thats fun and if you throw it into the water then it vanishes and it can burn by the sun --etc.
--> Idea type Write your idea type here, choosing one of the five types given. Recipe: A recipe to craft something, example: rope. (ALSO USED for tools, like: Stone dagger on Leaves gives Cut Leaves)
Island: Island idea, just plain a new island.
Resource: Idea for a resource to be in-game.
Feature: Idea for a new feature to be in-game (example: sickness)
Other: Anything that cannot be listed for things above.
Just choose what you think is the best!
--> Summary of the idea: Write in like 1-3 lines a summary of your idea to give us a further idea for the idea. The full description can be added in "Idea described in-depth".
--> Idea described in-depth. Descibe everything for your idea, except the things added in next lines (appearance, recipe, etc.). However if you think its better that we immediately know what the (recipe, appearance, etc.) is, then just write it here :) Dont forget to write it at the next lines to, for faster looking-up what for example the recipe of your idea was, for faster processing ;)
--> Purpose/Use Write in 1-3 lines here what your idea is used for. Is it primary used to fight? To make a nice tribe on? To make the game harder? To craft bread with it? Etc.
--> Appearance: If applicable, write in-depth how it must look like. For example, a feature request for a new GUI in the game can describe on this line what the GUI looks like, etc. What it does (the buttons of the gui, for example) can better be writed on "Idea described in-depth").
--> Feedback: If applicable, feedback is used to describe how your idea interacts with other objects. In this game, nothing stands alone. For example, the ocean waves will interact with how high your body is when you swim. Or, when you have an animal idea like a bird, you can describe here how the animal interacts with other animals and with humans. What happens when it gets hit by a stone from a catapult?
--> Recipe: If applicable, write here what your recipe is. Dont forget any buttons to hit or in the case of a tool what you must hit with the tool. Example: Rope = Cut Leaves + Cut Leaves (Create Item) Plank = Stone Adze used on a Gatherered Medium Wood.
--> Result type: If applicable and if you think its necessary, this is the place to write your result type in. This is mostly used for just new recipes, write here what you get. An item, tool (weapon, tool used to make bread, or used to make planks, etc.), building (Storage? Crafting?), etc.

Here are some examples of ideas, to give you an idea on how this works.
-->Recipe
Name: Bronze Armor Idea type: Recipe Summary of the idea: You can craft bronze armor and wear it to have more health. Idea described in-depth: When you need more health when you level up to, for example, the bronze age you also need Armor. In this case its bronze armor, which will give you an additional 10 health. Purpose/Use: Giving more health to the player wearing.
-->Optional: Appearance: Bronze colored body parts. Feedback: Other people can steal this when you die, and animals will run away when they see it, because the sun reflects into it and scares them. Recipe: Leather + 2 Bronze (Item) Result type: Armor (Item)
--> Island
Name: Volcano Island Idea type: Island Summary of the idea: Island with volcano with a lot of resources. Idea described in-depth: The island has obsidian ("volcano glass") in it for use. The volcano can be entered and it can also erupt. The island is very big, however due the rocks its hard to build on there. Purpose/Use: Island that helds rare resources as Obsidian.
-->Optional: Appearance: Island with volcano and Obsidian. Obsidian are small black, some transparent bricks that are really heavy. Feedback: When the volcano erupts, there is less sunlight on the whole server after a while, causing plants and trees to grow less fast, also using composts etc. After that, the ground on volcano island is EXTREMELY fertile, causing plants and trees growing super fast and giving fruit that has huge health/hunger/thirst/lungs values. Recipe: Not applicable Result type: Not applicable
--> Resource
Name: Wheat Idea type: Resource Summary of the idea: Wheat resource used to create bread in the end. Idea described in-depth: The Wheat resource can be used to make bread with its seeds. The wheat stalk has no use I can think of. They grow on warmer islands in small groups and can be farmed too. Purpose/Use: Resource to make bread
-->Optional: Appearance: Yellow/Orange like small stalks with another part on top of it(the seed). Feedback: Wheat stalks grow fast. The seeds can be eaten by animals, too. Some seeds can have bad quality which will give bad bread in the end with less hunger value. It can even cause sickness when real bad quality. Recipe: Not applicable (OR, write here to recipe to make bread ;)) Result type: Not applicable

-->Comprehensive: Name: Sickness Idea type: Feature Summary of the idea: You can get sick due various reasons. Idea described in-depth: When getting sick your walkspeed drops, you get less XP for skills, gather slower etc etc. To cure this you need a medicine using the Medical Handbook. You can get sick due bad food, cold, other people, randomness, animals, etc. Purpose/Use: Making people sick
-->Optional: Appearance: Not applicable. Feedback: Other people can get sick when you are sick due contact, chatting, eating stuff that is being eated by that person, etc. Also animals can get sick due humans. Recipe: Not applicable Result type: Not applicable

I cannot think of other things. However, if you feel that something has to be listed into idea type "Other", then choose that for idea type. However, in most cases, its probably just a feature. Just do whatever you think is the best.

Under the eye of the hurricane it would be calm, but from the outside of the storm to around the eye it would be dumb not to be in a shelter, the rain would burn out fires, the winds would pick weak things off of the ground into the unknown. Hurricanes would be anywhere from slow and weak to fast but powerful at any size. Purpose/Use: To give a challenge to the survivalists

Perfect! Thanks for filling in the form correctly.
For your ideas.
Hurricane: Yes, this is a good idea. Stranded will have a lot of disasters later, but I dont think we will put in Hurricanes in the near future, simply because we dont have a lot to make yet :) However, your idea is really nicely filled in-depth so this goes in our Ideas archive to look up later. Thanks!
Flood: Same as above. I think we maybe can actually put this in already, because the fire script can handle multiple ocean heights and the health script can also pick up when there is a bad flood. Nice idea, maybe you see it soon in Stranded. I think this idea will get in Stranded before the hurricane.

Good idea of the island. I dont think we will actually put 5 islands in there. What do you think about a Ocean Volcano (in the ocean?). Also, after a volcano erupts, you can use the ground to farm very fast (nutritional ground).

xD Ideas get more "Insane" here! :)
Okay, the idea itself is realy original. However. If you are playing stranded, made huge city and suddenly get Insane, then you wont like that because you dont have 100% control. This is, I think, really annoying.
Also, the "take weapons out" stuff is almost unscriptable, because the only way to equip weapons is to hit a (1-10) key or click it with your mouse.
Nice idea tough, keep up the good work! |

| There wont be any NPC villages, but animals will act the same, the only difference is that they dont craft stuff: they also will have hunger, thirst, lungs and health. |

Idea type: (Recipe/Island/Resource/Feature/Other): Button
Summary of the idea: The crudeshop's buttons need another kind of open/close function. Press to open, press again to close.
Idea described in-depth: In the crude shops, when you press the button, the window will open. After a while it closes by itself. I find that kind of annoying, and unrealistic too. Normal windows don't close by themself. So i want you to add a open/close function that is a little bit different. When you press it, it opens, and when you press it again, it closes. That way, the annoying bug, where the window is stuck on the roof, maybe disappears too.
Purpose/Use: A button that opens and closes window in crude shop

Yes, a sorta like Lungs skill will be made. Also, a special gear called the Horn, when worn, takes x damage of your lungs off, depending on the horn. Good idea :D
The second idea however, does not fit our guidelines. It involves "Realism" and indirect also "Balance".
On 303 there is not a lot of suspense of raiders. Yes, they can burn your buildings. But so what? You just fireproof them. And if someone raids you, you can just say store/all when you die and take/all to use them again. Thats not realistic, and also not balanced, because you can never kill the higher level player like that, because he can just turn back.
I know its annoying, but this game is trying to be as realistic as possible, so we cannot add this... |

Yes. In our world.
In Stranded value is not defined by the means of "Money". The value of something is the use. Thats the same as in real life. 1 dollar represents a value. Years ago they traded in stuff. 2 wool for 1 sheep. Or something like that...
But I will look into it. And for those very small ideas - this actually is an addition - you really dont have to fill out the survey. Thats more for new ideas ;)
