1: Better multi-monitor support
I'm sure some of you over at ROBLOX HQ have more than 1 monitor. If so, you know ROBLOX can only run on about 1/4 of your secondary monitor. This is not intuitive and a complete waste of space.
That is why I am proposing a new solution to allow ROBLOX to run on multiple monitors.
2: Support for retina resolution
Unless you were living under a rock yesterday, you know Apple released the Macbook pro line with retina resolution. This powerful device runs at a resolution of 2880x1800. Eventually, Apple will update its entire line of computers with retina, and after that other brands will, to. When this happens, ROBLOX will need to update to support it
(If you already support this resolution I am sorry)
Oh, and to anyone who has the nerve to post a dumb thread like "why wud u get uh mac" I will provide you with several reasons. |

You are being stupid. It just shows how well Apple fans are brain washed. "Retina" displays are nothing more than a high resolution screen and roblox automaticly conforms to any resolution.
There is nothing special to support 2880x1800 screens.
By the way you called a mac powerful? HA GOOD ONE. |

>You can configure the Macbook pro retina to have up to 16GB of RAM, and 1GB of graphics memory. I would call that powerful.

There's nothing wrong with Macs, so what do you have against them? |

| Nothing wrong with macs? Obviously you don't understand the actual costs of hardware. To add 4gb of RAM to a mac costs 200 DOLLARS. Thats stupid and insane but people still do it. Enjoy spending 2000+ dollars on a 16gb of RAM mac when plenty of normal laptops do the same and cost under 1500 dollars. |

I do understand the costs of hardware, and I understand why people buy it. People buy Apple products because Apple actually puts EFFORT into designing their products. If you buy a half-decent laptop from Hewlett-Packard or Dell for $700, you'll get a laptop made of glossy plastic that's an inch and 1/2 thick, with a low-res screen. It may have good specs, but the look and feel of the laptop is very cheap.
A product from Apple is made of beautiful aluminum, glass, etc. They have nice, high-res screens and pack a huge punch even with low specs, due to the lightweight OS.
And the user experience on a Mac is awesome. If you've never used a Mac before (And judging by your posts you haven't) the interface is fluid, easy to use, and can run very high-retail programs despite hardware limitations.
People are willing to spend money on this, no matter what the price is. Its not because they blindly follow Apple (Although I know some people who do >.>) but because they know that when they buy an Apple product, they're going to get something very nice out of it.
I hope you understand now, but you are so closed-minded that I doubt anything I say will make you understand.

So you buy the laptops because they look good?
Typical. Anything more than 1600x900 on a 15inch screen is pointless because there is literally no difference just more strain on the gpu.
A thinkpad is cheaper, more powerful, more flexable, and above all faster than most macbooks. |

Yes, I do. Is that really hard to believe? The last time I checked, every thinkpad except their new ultrabooks (About $1500, so no argument there.) are made of ugly, cheap plastic and offer terrible build quality.
And no, its not pointless. I am a photographer and videographer, so my screen resolution matters a lot to me. Also, you shouldn't judge something you've never seen. Text, pictures, videos, web pages, books, programs, everything looks absolutely amazing! If you see it in person, you would understand.
Thinkpads are not more powerful or flexible. The Windows infrastructure was built when portable computers didn't even exist! programs are free to use all the CPU they want to. Multiple programs run in the background whether you want them to are no. These factors eat away at your battery life, and OS X is just as flexible as Windows, if not more.
Why do I buy my laptops because they look good? Because I care about what my devices look like, not just the power. Does "Think different" ring a bell?
Why did you just walk in here and try to start an argument, anyways?
Obvious troll is obvious..

That's something I would expect to here from a 10 year old. Seriously.
Linux lacks developer support, and I'm not the one who just goes on threads and starts arguments. You are, so you should get out.
And you provide no valid responses to my argument. Instead of coming up with a valid response to my arguments, you just come up with new ones and I then subsequently shoot them down. The reply you just posted proves that you've run out of ideas.
Get out. |

| Is it a lie? No, its not. Linux may be a good OS, but in the world of software development you'll know that if you want to write a program, you write it for Windows and Mac. If you write it for Linux, that's great, but you just wasted 48 hours of your life writing a code that will get downloaded 8 times. I would love for Linux to get bigger, and I have it in a dual-boot on my laptop, but I can't use it because none of my programs work on it. So yes, it does lack developer support. |

You obviously know nothing about linux, open source, and the free software movement. Why do you even bother talking about things you do not know about.
Linux has stayed by far the most stable OS because of the hundreds of thousands of devs that write code for it because its all open and the code can be directly viewed and edited. This is also true about almost all the software made for linux, if there is a program people want it is almost instantly created by these people because they want it and they can. There are also companys that make money on linux by giving away their software but selling customer support and help with the program.
Hopefully all the misinformation you have been told is cleared up. |

| I love Linux, but what you just said is full of lies. You obviously know nothing about coding. Do you have any idea how painstakingly hard it is to convert software to another operating system? And its practically no use updating it because the only people that use Linux are techies and businesses that use it for servers. Neither of these are true consumers, If you want to develop server software, that's great, but average consumer software? No. |

Macs run great. Apple is years ahead of competitors. It is all around us. You go to school and what do kids have with them? An iPod. Not a DellPod, a HPPod, or ToshibaPod; but an iPod. Apple has dominated the market because they targeted the younger generation with products that are truly in one word, stunning.

| Mac Users are incredibly satisfied with their products and are willing to pay the price tag. Most Mac Laptops from 2003 are still running smooth today after upgrading their software. |

People are willing to pay because most are uninformed or want to be hipster.
The fact is they are more expensive and less powerful. |

I know only one company that sells its computers with Ubuntu preinstalled on it: System76.
And I bet if I went out and asked 500 people what System76 was, 1 of them would know. Dell does have a cheap budget laptop with Ubuntu on it, but other than that (Not counting servers, which are by far not consumer products) I don't know any consumer products with Ubuntu on it. |

Who honestly cares if they're more expensive? Not consumers, like us! Apple products are beautiful, and not cheap like inexpensive dells made of glossy plastic.
Have you noticed recently that pretty much every geek, techie, and nerd uses Macs? You're down by millions, SonTruth! Give it up, you've lost. |

And you honestly think techies use macs? You must be high or stupid. Thats where most of the hate for Macs come from. |

I bet you don't personally know one non-techie person that has installed Ubuntu on their machine.
And yes, I know a lot about Ubuntu. I have it on my laptop. OS X has about 66,000,000 users. Windows has about 600,000,000 All Linux distributions combines have about 3,000,000. |
