***If you think this idea is about giving away Outrageous Builder's Club, what is wrong with you. The title doesn't even allude to that, ya derp.***
Frankly, Roblox is Entering an Extremely Outrageous Building Crisis.
I'm glad you clicked here to stop it.
Today, there is an extreme class gap. Since the last time I was on Roblox, sometime early 2011, this class war hasn't ended. But that's not what I want to talk about. It seems that the Eoblox developers and administrators focus most, if not all, of their attention on making as much money as possible. But that's not what I want to talk about. What this forum thread will be about is much more detrimental to the fate of this online game we all apparently enjoy for some reason:
Building.
I have no idea if the building situation improved from the last time I was actually able to play one of the user-made places, but today's Robloxian populace not only create games designed using mostly free models, but accept this mediocrity as "okay" or even "enjoyable." Whatever happened to quality games? Whatever happened to new ideas, new scripts, new SOMETHING?
My idea is to fight this widespread mediocrity, using the only future Roblox has left:
Guests.
I propose that the Roblox administrators design a place, complete with servers always open, for guests and even new players to learn about Roblox.
When a guest selects a world to play, they'll have the option to either play in that world *or* go to a tutorial world, where one would learn all of the basics of Roblox. Here, a guest could learn how to build an epic place, act in the community, buy clothing, make a name for him/herself, and even script and cframe. I don't know exactly how this could all be done with the current confines of Roblox, but if it's ever done, then yeah.
BENEFITS To begin, "noob" guests would know more about how Roblox works than many veterans. The new generation of Robloxians would create innovative new places and play them as well. The community wouldn't be as filled with people dissatisfied with everything, and actual intelligence could be reached on forums such as this one. With better-quality places being built, more people would be attracted to the game, meaning more money for Roblox, whether in Builders' Club or ad revenue, hopefully leading to more updates like water and terrain, and a better Roblox in general.

| Support, but the title might be misleading, seeing as why this doesn't have at least a handful of supporters/non-supporters. |

| Support. I love this idea. GREAT idea. But instead of trying to teach scripting in-tutorial, they could provide a link to the wiki and explain what scripting is. |

Aye, I agree that we have to fight this mediocrity, so support untill a better idea has been found. Wich is very unlikely. Then again, many people seem to be happy, being ignorant. |
