Tri, I'm going to get serious with you. That show is the most amazing thing I have seen all my life. It's a true wonder how it all fell together so perfectly.
Let's start with the writing. I am one of the pickiest people when it comes to writing. One small detail contradicts another? I'm all over it. I'm Emailing the writers, telling them about it and to fix it. I can't criticize MLP for it's writing. It's the best I've seen in a children's show, or any show at all for that matter. Once you start getting farther in, you notice the connections between the characters. Not only notice, however. You feel as if you're a part of them. I actually found myself caring for characters. Caring, not some crap "Aww" every time something cute happens. And you may think it's about some trifles that are blown up into huge fits. They're not. It makes sense.
On the subject of animation: It's made using flash and it looks amazing.(That in it's self is an accomplishment.) The skills of the animators made my mouth drop at times. There are moments when the camera panned (Note: It's a 2D show) and I didn't even notice til it had switched views.
Voice Acting: I often forgot there was a voice actor. That's how good these people are. They are versatile, as well. In one episode they may be fine, helping their friend about something and the next episode be utterly insane. (Insanity is NOT an exaggeration.)
References: I don't know if you've heard about it, but there are two major ones I'd point out to a peer. In episode 18, there is a Lord of the Rinds reference to Golem. Also, in episode 2 of Season 2, the ending of it is a reference to the end of Star Wars Episode IV. Star Wars, for god's sake.
Community: Although I admit us Bronies are varied in dedication, there are a few of us who are not Bronies because everyone else is. We just honestly love the show.
My sympathies, friend. You shall not enjoy this masterpiece because "It's made for 5 year olds11" |

| Im not a five year old girl that watches shows about talking ponies. It's hard to believe that 20 year old men watch that show. Watch cartoons liek Family Guy instead. |

| You may say it has "Great storyline and hurr durr" but just the fact that its intended for little girls and involves talking ponies and cheesy humor ruins everything |

> Cheesy Humor Watch the show before you criticize, bro. And A Star Wars reference isn't what I'd call "cheesy", so maybe you should read my post, as well.
And the fact that it is made for five year olds. Well, that is not so hard to get past if you watch the show for a few episodes. |

Lol. My* Little* Pony*
Nice grammar there.
Also, you are biased and therefore your argument invalid. Although I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Give me one piece of criticism that has not to do with it being for five year olds? |
