The current way of placing water is a failure. It messes up the terrain below it, and when it fills in water it is uneven and looks terrible. There needs to be a fill tool for water that would fill the lower terrain up to the point you clicked. It would only apply to a certain area of terrain, for example if you had a mountain and you put a crater in the center and clicked fill at the top of the crater, it would fill only the crater because there is a wall separating it from everything else. A fill tool would make water more realistic and easier to use.

Supported, though one could, in all honesty, just make this in a plug-in.

Support. Make the Fill Tool a Bucket. =P Also Water is a WIP I guess, since its flow looks very... Um... I can't say this in a clean way. But it's very blocky.

Hopefully they will upgrade water more, because at the moment it isn't that great. Bump again.

Support, but there are still more logical ways than painting the terrain. :U
For example, creating an orb at max radius, max height. :)

Still, it messes up the terrain below it and makes it look bad. A fill tool would create water while still keeping the terrain the way it is below and around it.

Support. One guy actually has a script for this, the same guy who made ROBLOX Battleboats.
