Swords should come with shields. I just made a system that lets you perfectly block swipes by timing a shield advance.
That would make things WAY more interesting. |

I tweaked the hitbox/cancollide for the blade.
Now it's pretty much like a normal sword duel. Any time spent running after getting hit would be replaced with blocking.
That armor gives 500 hp, so that might be a cause as well. |

Swordfight's are usually just swords.

Simple enough, ROBLOX should go back to the original physics that were way better than the physics now where most SFs end in a tie due to latency.
And that new water they made looks stupid too. |

Honestly, I'm just trying to make one solution. The ties in Swordfighting now are so common, all you have to do is run someone through. Suicide swordfighting isn't fun. |

Well, thing about it. Most players are in first person when fighting, and they both face eachother at all times when they do that.
That means your swords are lined up at eachothers shoulders. On collision, you both tilt to an angle, and both swoords cause critical damage.
Some people are very talented, and know when to lunge and back out right after their sword goes up, but it's hard to practice when the aforementioned sword ties are so frequent. |
