I feel like making an RPG and scrapping project vortex.

What do you think? Project vortex is 0.1% done, so it doesn't really matter.
If I make an RPG, it would be unique.

(I know I'm still gonna make an RPG anyway but, lol)
PS (Zero Engine development will still run at full speed)

Darn, Project Vortex was unique. Shame.

Anyways go for it. But the least you could do is not have it cliche and unoriginal.

I updated it to have area buffer and real-time buffering and particle system works now.

RPGs are harder, but it has a much much bigger rate of emergence.

If you mean buffer as in rendering. Go to my Mock-Up RPG to see an example of Rendering Cells, great for massive maps like RPGs.

Although interior/exterior cells are always good to. Do yours just turn transparent, or get moved to Nil?

Yes. I call them area buffer. You call them 'cell buffering'. xD
Zero Engine now supports that. Also particles, and the original real-time distance buffering. Mines are either destroyed or clone.
(It's better than the one you have 'wilderness cell system')

Yea, different words, same meaning.

And my Rendering Cells aren't as good for how you use them, but mine can load large groups of models from Nil, so no lag. Yours are good for you, mine are good for me. I hope that makes as much sense to you as it does to me :P

Ok. Mines is local and copies directly to the camera and free of disturbance from other players. Just sayin, :P
Everybody's gonna get it anyway so yeah... depends on how you use them.
