I've had an idea for a game. It was inspired by the windy weather. Basically, you are lost/stranded or ran away from home or something. The base plate is a conveyer set to about 1 velocity so there's a bit of wind force. The ambient would be dark and mysterious. Anyone have any ideas :) Thanks.

I love the idea, you should make this more of a mystery game. Like you don't remember why you left home. And you discover clues on the way.

Sounds good, Could use a balloon as a tool for a platforming element if you wish to do so. Or could be a roleplay. Im not sure what type of genre you are going for but the idea sounds good. It reminds me of listeing to Alive by leona lewis,just without the thunder and rain and running :P (It's what comes to mind when im listeing to it) |

I have a couple more ideas for it. Tiredness bar. Have to rest/sleep. Have to collect sticks and things to make shelter.

The need bar will be neccesities to stay alive. Water, food, sleep, stuff like that.
The want bar will be what you think you need to stay alive. Something like a teddy bear, that you brought with you. And a camera. It's like a fun bar, but not exactly. And if you want to get into real detail, a hygeine bar. |

If I can, I'll try to make some cut scenes, basically like flash backs to what might have happened to make the character leave home.

It should definately start with a cutscene. And make everything appear greyscale, for the cutscenes, if you use GUIs for them. Make it seem like an actual flashback.
AMAZING idea though. |

| The cutscene in the beginning shouldn't be grayscale, just your player walking aimlessly then falling then grayscale flashes of flashbacks then it fades to white. |

| If you die in the game, don't make it send you back to the beginning. Make the screen black out and then the wind pushes you back to somewhere or something. OH! Wait, no if you die you could have like a dream/flashback of something and then you "wake up" with some random person(they got lost too! :D). |

Would be better that you just 'blackout' and return to the last checkpoint. I feel that you if you 'die' in the game it'll ruin it's story. |

I was thinking of having the character running into the forest. His home was an old-fashioned bakery. Check it out so far at my place called 'FTF fort [Unnamed]' Ignore the name. Again: Any ideas for names? Anyone that can help me with cutscenes?
