| What's point of that? If you steal place, you can see all content of it, so it's always possible to find scripts what try to prottect. You can try to hide it deep in random models, but no guarantee |

| @RATEXmegaGAMER: server scripts used to not copy anymore. they removed it after a few hours when hopperbins stopped working, and they still replicate so far. |

IF you hide it in nil it won't get copied. There is your answer my friend. Hide your important scripts in nil der ma her.
Don't use StarterPack or StarterGui. Make your own version of it via script and clone all the tools and guis then remove them. Then when someone dies clone them to that player. And make sure the tools and guis also set their parents to nil. Thus every script is always nilled. :) |

1. Load code in to string values. 2. On server start loadstring the values 3. Destroy the values 4. Profit |

So from what I've read on this forum, the best way to protect your scripts is to place them in nil. So, if you do it it right, those scripts could be used to then protect the rest of the place, correct? Possibly by checking the place ID and if it doesn't match up, destroy everything (Lol.).
Only problem is keeping the scripts in the game when it gets loaded... Does insert service still work for free models? Because if you made the script a free model and had other, completely unrelated scripts that are essential to the rest of the game, insert it and parent it to nil... Profit? xD |
