The ability to set words that do not show for a player. What I mean is, so that I can go into My ROBLOX -> Account -> Offensive Words And add words to it that would not show for me. As an example... Let's say I found the word... Boop offensive. I could add "Boop" to a list of "Offensive words", and in-game, any sentence with "Boop" in it would not show to me or anyone with "Boop" set as offensive.

This should be in the parental settings... After the user turns 13+, they accept the rules. Then the "Offensive Words" list becomes null, but kept on file by a bot. If a bot recognizes that the user repetitively is saying one ore more of the words listed, the user will be warned, mid-game. Continual usage of said words will cause for a ban.
In other words, semi-support. |

Not even close to what I was getting at. This is for words the USER finds offensive. This does not alter the rules in any way, this is so a user can set their own filter for words that they find offensive, in addition to words that the filter already has. |

I don't really see why a user would use it... if they know that the word is bad and they shouldn't use it, then they just should not type it! Having a filter specialized for this is unnecessary. As I mentioned earlier, the setting you offer is for the kid's account. Obviously the child would never touch it.... that's why I suggested it for a parental account.
No support unless implemented my way.
Sorry.
Superioran out.

@Super: Again, you didn't understand it. This is so that you won't see it when ~>*&OTHER PEOPLE&*<~ type it. |

Not that many disadvantages. I'd see myself blocking the word "N00b," "N0b," "Nub," Etc. Support. |

This would make it so you did not see the entire message. Much like how the filter works now, but this allows a player to add onto their own personal filter in addition to the current one.

| Hmm, people could find a way around it (Like saying Booop instead of Boop), but I guess it's alright. I'll support! |

True, they could. Thanks for the support, and perhaps as a way of fixing the "Booop instead of Boop", how about the system having a way to input something, ~ for example, so I could type "Bo~p" and it would block off "Bop", "Boop", "Booop" and et cetera? |

For those supporting; thanks. For those not supporting; Just so you know, this does not affect the filter currently set up in any way what-so-ever. This is basically adding a second filter to help the current one so a person can block words that offend or greatly annoy them. For instance, some people do not like, as Vega had pointer out earlier, words like "Noob". However, most parents would not know what this is, and would not take the time to go and add this word that they have absolutely no idea what it means, to their child's personal filter. In a way, it would work like this.
[100 microbes in water] -> [Filter1(ROBLOX's current filter)] = [50 microbes in water] -> [Filter2(User's customized filter] = [>10 microbes in water]

| Agreed! I could block noob, nub, n00b, and newb, as well as BC, TBC, and OBC from appearing to me. The BC's are because I just don't like it when people brag about BC |
