On school days, I can't really code anything that takes a while because there isn't enough time and I'm usually tired, so I manage around 1 hour of scripting on Roblox. On weekends, I am aiming for at least 4 hours - I say "aiming" because since completing my post compo for ludum dare, I haven't had any motivation but I have a new idea now, which should be fun to make so I will actually want to.
I will probably play around 4 hours of games in the evening as well.
How long do you spend coding a day? |

When i start coding ill code forever.
If i cant get on the computer in the morning i wont bother coding and game the whole day.
If i face a minor obstacle while coding i wont bother coding and game the whole day.
If i know i wont have 6+ hours of time left that day + free time the whole next week i wont bother coding and game the whole day.
If i go to the fridge i might not bother coding and game the whole day. |

Often at least 30 mins to an hour a school day and on weekends, one of two things happens:
1- All day TF2 2- Morning web dev for at least 3 hours, afternoon software/game dev for usually 5-6 hours |

for me, it's basically:
get up -> code -> lunch + some other break if family wants to go out -> code -> tea -> game
And the 'code' there equals about 4 hours, which makes me feel like I am wasting my time playing games yet coding past 6:30pm seems too late |

| meh, once every 100-200 lines of code? Depends how into the project I am. When I start I like doing a lot of math-related back-end work so I hit more nooks, but soon into projects I've wrapped a lot of the stuff necessary for what I want into helper functions and it's more rapid and easier. |

| I have no school, job, or life, so the past week or so I've been coding/debugging 12 hours a day. I often forget to eat. |

@necrobumpist, dunno why but "vidya games" just made me giggle.
anyhows for me it usually works (lets say on weekends and assuming I'm not going anywhere)
morning-afternoon( or afternoon depending when i wakeup): check messages, forums, play MC, random crap Evening: possibly open up roblox and code, moar MC, random crap Night (8pm-4am): code, Draw, learn codez, random crap
usually ends up being whatever i feel like doing, so i could spend the entire day coding.

Obstacles while coding:
Need to start working on a whole new class
Decided to remake current class
Need to get new library or something working
Dat linker even after 10 minutes of debugging
Its messy
Fridge
Brain confused about row/column based matrices and doesnt know what is what because nothing tells which one is used
Family member enters room and starts talking/sits behind me (->go to fridge)
Less than 4 hours left, need to browse and play games
Needed to check out something while coding, cant find way back from the depths of de internet |

| If I didn't die in MC the past day, I probably don't even script. If I do I'll just attempt to and then get bored and get back to MC. |
