AAAH! I'LL MAKE THIS LAST THREAD COUNT! LET'S COLLABPRATE- Wait, those are gummy worms? Score! ...But I'm still posting this.
Now, I am a terrible gamer, so I hardly ever go on my Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game but...what if we were to make...an in-depth version of the game? Here's my backstory: Humanity began advancing in the fields of technology, at first, Pokemon paid no heed. They were far stronger, after all, humans were an inferior part of it all, but then they began to make harnesses, if the humans could hurt a Pokemon enough and force on the harness, it would be Zombified in a sense, their minds would be imprisoned and they'd do whatever told. However, it would only happen to weak Pokemon, so it was generally disregarded. However, humans made a far more accurate device in the late 1700s, an early Pokeball, it was able to capture Pokemon for good just by the toss, and the Pokemon population plummeted. Pokemon were rapidly being stolen away by "trainers", human who enslaved the Pokemon and used them as gladiators, in a sense. So the Guilds were formed. There was one major Guild per region, they were made up of hundreds of teams of Pokemon, who were assigned tasks, mostly rescuing Pokemon from humans. Overtime, the business expanded and they would accomplish tasks as simple as deliveries. The Guilds flourished, but overtime, they tried to expand their business overseas, and competition began. Now, it wasn't for citizens, it was for money, Guilds tried to infiltrate other Guilds with mercenaries and spies, a secret feud was beginning.
Ok, rivaling Guilds with some corrupt members. I cannot tell if I should do the early 1900s or modern era, both would be fascinating. I also cannot tell if there should be something going on already or we develop decent plots overtime. Note:This is nothing like the games, no transforming humans, just rivaling Guilds, and no leveling or stats, please.
...I know it's Pokemon. Please don't hurt me. |

Is it because they're overused? If so, I might not post this. |

Yes, in PMD threads they tend to be overused. Modern Pokemon is overused, you know; the generation with Pokemon league n' stuff. And third: GUILDS ARE HORRIBLE! They take 90% of the money YOU earned, example: You earn 2000 and you get the remainder; 200! Not even enough for a GUMMI! And Guilds make you wake up at RIDICULOUS times, I know they're meant to be army camps but they wake you up with LOUDRED! Do not complete a mission that means earning apples? No dinner! This seriously all happens in the canon game! |

You're right, it is overused...and I can't say I've ever felt better after joining the threads... Ninety Percent...that would show how corrupt they are...they sound horrible...you're right, not a great idea. |

*Bites lip till it bleeds* Perhaps...the Sci-Fi idea, it hasn't been done and new ideas can either reach the heavens or go down hill, it just depends on...how we do it
And THAT was only the Wigglytuff guild! If I had the choice of joining a Guild or being a lone Rescue Team; I would be a loner |

| My PMD thread won't have the guild for sure. Instead, I'm using Exploration Teams with bases rather than working for a guild. Also, once you graduate and are a high enough level, you can still earn quite a bit of money with harder jobs. |

I wish there was a run away option in the game, this was literally a scene in my head when playing PMD Sky after beating Darkness
Partner: Hey, lets form a rescue team and join Wigglytuff's Guild!
Me: *Burns partner to death* NO! (I was a Vulpix :3)
Yes very, what should we expand on first? |

Perhaps for the Sci-Fi topic:
How futuristic
A bit more Plot
Experimenting Limits
Power Limits
And some more stuff :3 |

Technology advances quickly in our world, it could be from one to two hundred years. All I can think of is rivaling Guilds, and interesting sideplots developing throughout the missions. Experimenting...what do you mean by that? Power limits, teams of four, you can't have personal relationships between higher-ups, and of course, strict rules against Godmodding. |

| It's Sci-Fi, I mean there's almost always Experimenting in Sci-Fi, it's a good cliche as long as you make it diffe-We're still doing PMD aren't we... |

Yes. Pokemon fusions might be interesting, humans may expand in technology like aircrafts or guns, while Pokemon attempt genetic experiments. |

At least its different. Pokemon fusions should be limited to no legendary fusions and no evolved with non-evolved; we don't want Lucario Eevees running around all over the place. And humans should have more advanced weapons like laser shooting guns. Pokemon doing genetic experiments make sense as well |

Yes, Pokemon are already born with a built in attack-and-defense system, and Lucario Eevees would be dreadful. Should the Guilds conduct experiments and if so, do all people know this or is it an under cover project? |

Lucario Eevees, despite how much I love Eevee and Lucario; this would lead to disaster. Perhaps the Guilds could be...companys? And if the Guilds/Companys do conduct experiments, the results would be isolated from the world until battle |

Yes, they could be sort of like companies. Experiments should be held in secret places, kept underground, it would sully their name if citizens learned they were using workers for warfare, they also have absolutely no authorization, it's abuse. |

Sorry but if you put Guilds...people will think Wigglytuff's Guild...
It would make sense for Experiments to have no authorization whatsoever as they are seen as bioweapons |

For Pokemon fusions, I think it should work like this:
It can only be a fusion of two Pokemon at the same evolution stage:
Pikachu+Monferno=compatible Nidoran(F)+Piplup=Compatible Garchomp+Tyranitar=Compatible
However if it is an unevolved plus a fully evolved it is not compatible:
Eevee+Lucario=Incompatible(Will NOT work) Eevee+Raichu=Incompatible
However if it was a fully evolved Pokemon such as Infernape fused with a fully evolved two stage Pokemon such as Ninetales; it would work.
For types... Ah! The component Pokemon keeps their primary type and not their secondary, while the secondary Pokemon keeps their secondary type.
Charizard keeps Fire + Froslass which keeps Ghost= New Pokemon with Fire/Ghost.
As the Pokemon evolve both traits which form them evolve them as well:
Male Charmander/Snorunt fusion becomes part Charmeleon and part Glalie as it is male and not female. Later it will become part Charizard however it will not evolve again as Glalie/Froslass is the final evo of Snorunt.
I think the Fusion Pokemon can have abilities of both Pokemon which formed it however it also gives them flaws as well.
Wait a minute...am I getting confusing again?
I might do a Yanmega/Lucario :D However his Lucario traits are that he is humanoid, can use/see aura and has a spike coming from his chest. He is more Yanmega meaning he would be Bug/Steel...meaning DOUBLE fire weakness. |

You're not confusing, I understand. Good ideas, but what if one Pokemon cannot evolve, like Zangoose? |

| Simple, only the other half evolves however if both halves cannot evolve such as Zangoose and Serviper, then the Pokemon does not evolve all together. |

How about, a pokemon royal family leading a region who are at war with humans. All the companys start experimenting, meanwhile there is a pokemon underground/resistance that wants to overthrow the royal family and have peace with the humans, as there is alot of bloodshed.

| That seems...quite intriguing, and engaging, I do not see how experimenting companies and the resistance meet (due to just waking up >_<) but do you think they'd fund the companies? |

Arstemis, that's a good idea.
@Ab, I think they would fund the companies or the government would |

| I know how they would meet. The resistance would find out about these crimes against pokemon nature, and try to sabotage it and free pokemon. The freed pokemon will join the resistance to help stop it as it is very painful. |
