| The lack of innovation in the clan world is really saddening. |

| Tenal, the problem with opensourcing on ROBLOX is that it discourages innovation. Instead of people making new types of guns, they stick with one or two made by a person who released their guns (most notably, you). |

I have been on the leading edge of gun tech on roblox for a long time, I invented realistic dynamic raycast bloom 3 months ago, I have made a great shield system that is fair yet functional, and I have made an entirely new system for piloting vehicles (the shield system and vehicles are in the past 3 weeks alone).
I hate freemodels.

@Catblox People are free to fork H2 and I won't really care; in fact I'd encourage it. Unless they want to be mocked and ridiculed they'd at least change the weapon model of it. How would they do that? Modifying part of the source code.
Having your stuff closed source is in fact less innovative. There can be a very tiny difference, though. |

A lot of my group stuff is not free to take, because then everyone would take it and I would not get the credit for the original.

This is a great idea that I almost 100% support.
Because not to sound arrogant, but nobody in the clan world can make good stuff (bar one or two exceptions). Open sourcing would give everyone acess to good technology.

That it would, but then you have people claiming other's work as their own, it is a fine line this subject walks. I open source some things, but not my top level stuff.
