standard order of operations, you would go left to right
so you would divide 6 by 2 first. |

"But the problem is do you divide 6 by 2 or do you multiply 2 with 3."
6 by 2 because you go left to right |

>"Brackets Exponents Division Multiplication - I was told by my math 8 teacher that when it comes to d/m to whatever comes first in the equation Addition Subtraction"
B.E.M.D.A.S.? No. P.E.M.D.A.S. Parenthesis (or brackets, depends which one is first) |

6
6 divided by 2 is three and the 1+2 is 3 then add them together is 6 |

Oh, excuse me, I mean to say a number next to a number, without making a full number. As in, touching. If the numbers are touching, their one number, if their just next to each other with nothing in between them, it means multiply. |

THIS IS AN OLD TROLLING TECHNIQUE PEOPLE USED TO USE ALL THE TIME ON /SCI/.
There are in fact two correct answers to it, both acceptable, but it always erupts into a flame war.
Know your memes guys. |
