| As many as you create. You're probably overloading them with a loop, right? |

just run this script to tell you:
i = 1 table = {} while true do wait() table[i] = 0 i = i + 1 print(i) end
just let it run till it errors |

Funny fact: Yesterday I created a script to find that out... I can store ~85 million values until the script errors (http://www.roblox.com/RAM-test-place?id=33771483 gimme tix) |

| nvm,1 table can hold up to 16-17 million values,but you can still create tables inside the table. |

They hold a lot.
The only time I ever got a memory error was when I tried to save terrain within a table.
So they hold less than like 16 million values. |

| I would've thought table data could be infinite, as long as your computer and internet connection can support it |

They can hold a lot, but are limited by the amount of RAM your computer has.
That said, if you're storing more than 512 MB of data in any one table, you're doing something horribly wrong. |

| You are doing something wrong if you hit the limit, or are trying to solve a problem the wrong way. |
