Bob Marley - Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and the Wailers
There's a restaurant in Austin called Rasta Pasta. They serve pasta and there are some reggae album covers on the walls. Except one of the albums is actually The Wailing Wailers, which is by a Washington rock group called The Wailers. Presumably the person who put the record up there thought that it was by The Wailers of Bob Marley & fame, so honest mistake I guess, except the cover has a picture of the band on it, and not only is it clear that Marley isn't on the cover, but all of the members are very obviously white. The food is also kinda bad. Never order anything with marinara sauce there, because they always use too much and the pasta comes out like a noodle soup in marinara broth, and the sauce is really bland and tasteless and so is the pasta. Legend is that restaurant.

| I know you don't really like Muse, but review Origin of Symmetry. Probably their best album. |

| Hmm, maybe. I'll have to give it another listen before I review it though. |

Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation
Emilia, let's find our breath here, let's ease into this place, let's find a still moment in this wind, in the grey wet dawn of your eyes, of ice on southern skies- I am love, but I don't expect myself to understand. So, Joseph, how has your life been lately, eh?

NMH - ITAOTS
This is a concept album about Anne Frank in the same way that Kid A is a concept album about lemons.

Radiohead - Kid A
I've been searching for an album like this all my life. Here it is. I've read somewhere that Radiohead is overrated... no... definitely not. As for Kid A, one of the strangest things in life is suddenly remembering old dreams, and that's exactly what this does for me. But what's really scary is that I swear I dreamed about the album art before. When I listen to Treefingers, it's like I'm back in that dream. I never thought an album with such a gloomy, languorous mood could be praised like this, but it's all for the better.

Not to sound pretentious.... but there's definitely a strong "literary" element to that song. I was listening to it one time and I felt like my ears are reading poetry rather than me hearing music. Anyway, I also feel like the song title is just as important as the music. It sets the scene, and the "music" fills in the blanks.
I don't even know where I'm going with this.. I just find it to be a good song.. |

Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Running around in a field of flowers because you finally rid yourself of some weighed stuff on you.
No one gives a damn about how much you dislike the most popular band ever.
