Here you will learn about each rank and how you may advance and earn more privileges.
The ranks go like this:
Citizens < Lords and Magistrates < King

=-LOWER CLASS CITIZEN-=
Do anything to prove you are actually active to become a LCC, choose a town. Very low rank. Has almost no power until proven active. Nonetheless, they technically have the ability to roleplay as... -A peasant -A traveller/adventurer -A sailor -A farmer/hunter/fisherman -A laborer [Woodcutter, miner etc.] -An indentured servant -A military camp follower -A village watchman -A prison guard
=-MIDDLE CLASS CITIZEN-=
Rank up to this by proving you are loyal and active. A townsman. Ability to vote for a lord or magistrate if the king allows it. May have a farm/workshop and a house. Can roleplay as...
-Any of LCC's professions -A surgeon or medicine man -A muscian/entertainer -An innkeeper/tavernkeeper -A craftsman/artisan -A blacksmith/alchemist/clothesmaker/tanner and other shopkeepers -A guardsman -Any worker for hire [Bodyguard, payed servant, etc.]
=-HIGHER CLASS CITIZEN-=
Rank up to this by remaining in the group for some time and proving you have a certain useful skill. A wealthier citizen. Can vote for the fief's governor or adjutant if allowed. Can own a large house, large farm or a workshop. Can own indentured servants and have security-soldiers. Can roleplay as...
-Any of MCC's professions -A scholar -A yeoman -A priest or clergyman -A tax collector/treasurer -A royal assistant
-HONOURARY CITIZEN-=
Personally selected by king. Specialists or priviledged people recieve this rank. Usually group veterans, professional builders, high-ranking military officers or ambassadors recieve this rank.
=-GUILDMASTER-=
To become a guildmaster, you must have an OFFICIAL guild or company, either a private organization, or a royal league in service to a baron or the king. To have an official guild, you must request the king for a Guild Form, and fill it out. It must have a headquarters, purpose and a secretary.
=-MAGISTRATE-=
Selected by king or voted in. Magistrates are basically high-ranking officials who are not owners of feudal land [unlike barons], and reside in the Capital with the king. Ministers can sometimes become barons later on if they wish to own property, but this priviledge can only be granted by the king. Lives in the castle or owns a manor. Can own servants and have personal guards. People with this rank can be called "Sir" or "Lady".
=-BARON-=
One may become a baron if the king himself grants them nobility, or if he allows citizens to vote him in. Lesser lord. Has the ability to manage his fief. Cannot technically be conscripted, but being a noble means you must help with the war effort with the resources you have. Owns a fief and a manor. Can own indentured servants and personal soldiers. Barons and Earls can have the same titles as Magistrates, but barons and earls get to be rulers of towns. Ranks baron and up are to be called "Lord" or "Lady".
=-LORD REGENT-=
Personally selected by king. Supreme Lord and high advisors to the king. Holds high authority. Assists in managing the entire kingdom and can make major actions with permission from the king. Assists in managing the KINGDOM and owns a LARGE MANOR and 1 FIEF. Can own indentured servants and private soldiers. Owning a fief is optional for Regents. |
