Metallica is okay. They do have some excellent sutff (Ride the Lightning, Load, Reload) They're not that great though. I used to love them. Not so much anymore. They are great live though. My main problem is that they rip off other acts. In their early days, mainly Venom, Diamond Head, and Iron Maiden. Venom: Any song that uses to constant E-picking riff (Metal Militia, Whiplash, Fight Fire With Fire, Venom did it first with "Witching Hour," other thrash bands are guilty of this as well) Diamond Head: Listen to any of their early demos and you can tell that James was originally trying to copy Sean Harris of Diamond Head Iron Maiden: "Jump In The Fire" was their answer to "Run to the Hills" And Enter Sandman's intro was ripped off from "Tapping into the Emotional Void" by Excel I don't really like "Master of Puppets" though. Overall, nothing too great, but still not bad. |

And Cliff wasn't that great of a bassist. He just played the high frets of a heavily distorted bass. Jason was much better. His solos had melody, and a nice feel to them. Cliff was just "WAAAAAHHH WAAAAH WAHWAHWHAFAHSFHEJTJKEGORGHRGOH"

they're decent yes
as people I don't like them (after their big freak out about online downloads and all that jazz)
also the fanbase isn't that good most of the time
otherwise their songs are pretty cool when they're not cheesy (their newer stuff has some pretty cheesy lyrics)

| AJFA is okay. It has it's excellent moments (Blackened, Shortest Straw, Harvester of Sorrow, some of To Live is to Die), as well as it's dull moments (And Justice For All, some of To Live Is To Die, One) |

| Um, I don't even know how to post today.. Metallica is Metallica, what else is there to really say? Anyway, I like Slayer and Megadeth more, but I'm on the same fence for Anthrax and Metallica. |

I feel FEOS is the same as TLITD for me. Good at times, but dull at times. EOTB and Dyer's Eve are fairly good songs. I prefer the ones I mentioned though. |

The "hits and misses" of each album for me
Kill 'em All: Hits: Phantom Lord, No Remorse Misses: Whiplash, Metal Militia
Ride The Lightning: Hits: Fade to Black, Creeping Death, Ride the Lightning Misses: For Whom The Bell Tolls
Master of Puppets: Hits: Welcome Home (Sanitarium), Disposable Heroes Misses: Master of Puppets, Orion And Batter is quite possibly one of the funnest songs to play on drums (for me at least)
And Justice For All: You already saw it.
Black Album: Hits: The Unforgiven, The God That Failed, My Friend of Misery Misses: Enter Sandman, Holier Than Thou
Load: Hits: Until It Sleeps, Hero of The Day, Mama Said, Bleeding Me Misses: Cure, Thorn Within
Reload: Hits: The Unforgiven II, Prince Charming, Fixxxer Misses: Fuel, Better Than You
I'm not gonna count Garage Inc. Really good cover album. S&M is one of my favorite live albums of all time.
St. Anger: Hits: Sweet Amber, The Unnamed Feeling Misses: Invisible Kid
Death Magnetic: Hits: The Unforigven III Misses: Suicide And Redemption, My Apocalypse |

III isn't as good as I or II, but I still found it to be a good song.
Also, Lulu: Hits: Junior Dad, The View Misses: Pumping Blood |
