Windows 8 will flop, and soon Microsoft will stop supporting XP and XP will soon after become VERY outdated.
As I said earlier, Windows 8 will fail. It will fail because not only is horrible for regular users, but for businesses? Definitely not good. It'll fail with businesses. Macs are very expensive. Companies will do their research and the IT guys will finally decide that Linux is the best alternative because it's free, can run the tools they need, is good for administration, etc.
Red Hat Linux is currently the leading business Linux distro, so the majority of companies switching will switch to Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
It's pretty cheap right now at $52.54 a share, so buy it while it's cheap and you'll make lots of profit. |

| If you don't invest in the stock market show your parents this/tell them to invest in it. |

@Cheez
Red Hat Enterprise Linux is still very much alive.
However, they did drop the home user version a few years back. |

@Oozle
I have no idea what that is or why you would want to delete it as it sounds like it has something to do with network connection, but here's what you should do:
[oozle@oozle ~ ]$ su -
It should then ask for your root p@.ssword. Enter it in the Terminal (Nothing will show up but don't worry, it's there)
it should change to:
[root@oozle ~ ]$
then do:
[root@oozle ~ ]$ nautilus ~
this should bring up your home directory as root
then go into your file system, hit ctrl+f and find resolve.conf and delete it

oh thanks ill try that later the reason i'm looking to delete resolv.conf is because askubuntu is saying that it'll fix my error of connecting to a network but not being able to transfer any data |

@n00b
while I agree investing in Canonical would be even better, it doesn't have a symbol or anything |

glad I could help
and I use Fedora but I'm somewhat familiar with the Debian/Ubuntu terminal, so it should work. |
