Rio de Janeiro / Brazil - On the basis of the unusual orbits of some large objects in the Kuiper Belt, a Brazilian astronomer believed to be able to infer the existence of another planet at the outer edge of the solar system. In fact, his calculations would be a planet the size between the explanation of Mars and Neptune, the highly elliptical orbits of Kuiper Belt objects at best. The discovery is expected to debate about the existence of the much-discussed "Planet X" or even heat up to the alleged alien gods planet "Nibiru" again.
As Rodney Gomes of Brazil Observatorio Nacional at the meeting of the Division on Dynamical Astronomy (DDA) of the American Astronomical Society in Mount Hood in Oregon reported that have half a dozen of these objects in the Kuiper Belt - including the dwarf planet Sedna (sf Fig .) - strangely highly elliptical orbits around the sun.
According to Gomes, there are such differing orbits of several possible explanations. "But I think," said the astronomer says, "that represents an object with the mass of a planet, the simplest explanation."
Such a planet would orbit the sun but at the very edge of the solar system, but would be massive enough that its gravity as would affect the Kuiper Belt objects.
What exactly would be the planet that is not yet entirely clear. Nevertheless, some possibilities, according to Gomes narrow. According to new calculations, it could be a planet the size of Neptune. Such a planet of about four times the size of the earth, the sun would revolve at a distance of 225 billion miles.
Another possibility would also be an object of the size of Mars with a similarly highly elliptical orbit that would introduce the planet again and again to the 8 billion miles of the sun.
According to Gomes, it could be a once captured by the solar system planets loneract Another possibility is that the planet once very much nearer to the sun arose, then to have been propelled by gravitational interactions with other planets at the edge of the solar system to be.
Because transport of Gomes' calculations, however, derive any predictions of future positions of the potential planet, it is difficult to detect the postulated planet with optical methods.
According to "National Geographic" show up in the meantime, other astronomers of the Gomes calculations fascinated, though too distant, "What Gomes is showing that the probability of another (yet unknown) planets in the solar system has become a little bigger but his calculations. still far from a definitive proof of such a world, "commented Douglas Hamilton of the University of Maryland. Also, Hal Levison of Southwest Research Institute said in Boulder, that he was not quite sure what evidence Gomes' data actually: "It would surprise me if a companion of the sun from the small size of Neptune would have such an effect (. ..) But I know Rodney and I am sure, agree that his calculations. "

| It is possible that a planet exists further away from the sun than pluto without us knowing about it, as we couldnt see it because sunlight doesnt reach there. |

If it orbits around the sun we would know it.
Or simply NASA is hiding it from us for many reasons. |

Nibiru? That's just bull. Nancy Lieder, the one who can hear mind message from extra-terrestrials. Very believable, if you're an IDIOT. Not calling you an idiot, but the idea of Nibiru is just stupid.
