I hope that it's more like Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites.

Bangarang was a pretty big disappointment for me. I really only liked Devil's Den and Summit (Right In was ok).

I mean, I hope that it's got it's own sound (Like how Bangarang was completely different from SMaNS), but Bangarang's sound was bleh to me.

More songs like Cinema, Voltage, and Promises. That's what I want.

I hope his next album has no bass drops, just like the music Skrillex listens to.

He would troll all of his fans so hard.

Serious, an entire skrillex album that is just peaceful. No drops, no nothing. Peaceful.

I would instantly love him.

Sorry, I really don't like complextro. However, I weep for underground dubstep; such a good genre has its name soiled repeatedly.

Ambient Skrillex? Maybe he can take something from Aphex Twin. Ha!

Honestly, I have never listened to a Skrillex track in its entirety, and I never will. Again, I weep for the genre...

@Mac

Skrillex improved it IMO.

I've tried listening to some of the old underground stuff, but I just couldn't get into it.

All I've really enjoyed outta dubstep is Skream and Burial, but I haven't gone THAT deep into the genre.

Skrillex really is not a dubstep" artist. I really hate writing or saying "dubstep," as, if one is educated in music, it just SOUNDS like a dumb combination, but really it's not. It's a combination of dub reggae and UK 2-step garage. When dubstep was in its infancy, it sounded great. It was new, it was fresh. Then America and Skream ruined it, which in a way is kind of ironic.

To say that Skrillex "improved" it is a fallacious, misleading statement; he never even got into the genre. Skrillex incorporates no elements from dub and no elements from 2-step into his music.

Also, what "underground" artists did you listen to?

You find yourself drifting into the sonic soundscapes of Aphex Twin now?

Look at it this way, mac.

Skrillex is dubstep if the majority of people think he's dubstep.

While he's most certainly not the same genre as some of the older stuff, his stuff is dubstep because that's what people know it as.

I know, I just started listening to him yesterday, LOL! My buddy picked up 26 Mixes for Cash. You Can't Hide Your Love sounded so quintessentially techno that I cried. I also like ...I Care Because You Do, but I am maligned for it. I am also maligned for thinking that Selected Ambient Works 85-92 is not an ambient album... But whatever; he hates Bjork, which is fine with me.

I mean, one just has to listen to Green Calx to deduce that Selected Ambient Works 85-92 is not an ambient album. Still classically great, though.
