I'd like to connect my game so they can go in order by in-game teleporters. (The, "do you want to leave this place?" kind)
But, how can I make the teleporter move you to a specific spawn? |

This is easy, find the script in the teleporter called 'Spawning', and put in the Team Name where it says, and put the team colour where it says. (You need teams for this), if you do not have teams, leave that area blank, but change each spawn name to NeutralSpawn, NeutralSpawn2, etc.

Ah, that would make sense, but there isn't a script called "spawning".
You can find the version I'm using in the Toolbox>Game Stuff. |

| Very simple. Insert a teleporter model from ROBLOX, and change the PlaceID inside it to the other place's ID. |

I know, I was telling pink that, not just how to get to a place using it.

Erm..
Well, how bout you use a piece of code to teleport the player?
EI:
game.Players.PlayerAdded:connect(function(newPlayer) if newPlayer.Character then --teleport end end)
My code might not work.
- Cheers! |

It seems like the only way to do this would be to make sure they have different names, then teleport to a specific name. You'd be able to edit the player and send them to a specific one if it could be edited after leaving, but since it can't, this seems like the only method.
Or, if you have a script that's specific to a certain name that they all share, how about inserting another spawn on top, collide off, fully transparent, anchored, locked, and everything else to make it not seen in the game. Then the teleporters could use it, but once in-game nobody will notice. |

Yes, I know the process, but I don;t know the scripting for it. I'm using the scripts for the standard teleporter you can get from the toolbox. What do I put in it to make it go to a specific spawn?

You can use this, replace the NAMEHERE for the name of the specific part you wish to teleport.
derp = 0 function Teleport(hit) if derp == 0 then if hit.Parent:findFirstChild("Humanoid") ~= nil then hit.Parent:MoveTo(workspace:findFirstChild("NAMEHERE").Position) derp = 1 end else wait(3) derp=0 end script.Parent.Touched:connect(Teleport) |

| I'm talking about a game-to-game teleporter. |

| What do you mean? If you mean to go to a specific spawn, just replace NAMEHERE in my script to make the player teleport there. But if you dont mean that, what do you mean by saying game-to-game teleporter? Give me an example. |

| As in, the sort of teleporters that bring up the "Do you want to leave this place?" service. |

| The only way to define which spawn to teleport them to is by supplying the name. If multiple spawns have the same name, I believe it will choose a random one with that name and teleport them there. Just give them all a different name. |

| You mean like a teleporter that makes player exit the current game and enter another one? If so, that's not possible. |

Alright, here's the scenario:
I want a teleporter from Game A to send you to a specific team spawn on Game B. Game B's specific spawn would have a unique name.
The problem is, I have clue HOW to script this. I'm assuming I can just add some code to the standard game-to-game teleporter from the toolbox. |

| USE MAH FRIGGGING SKRIPT!!! Put my script in a block near Game A's team spawn location, and then change the NAMEHERE part of the script for Game B's team spawn name. Then do the same with Game B's team spawn, but vice-versa (The same thing you did with Game A's team spawn but with Game B's team spawn). |

@Master - If the spawn's name is unique, and you're using ROBLOX's teleporter, then fill out the PlaceId IntValue as normal, and there should be a String Value called "DestinationSpawnName" - just put in the Spawn's name as its value.
@Vampire - First of all, yes you can, using the TeleportService. Second of all, whether you can or not teleport from game to game is not the issue here. |

| @Vampire - I believe he said it very clearly - your script isn't what he wants. Yours just teleports in-game. |
