Unless you have already been accepted into the Mock Trial Program, or are a judge, anybody within the Legal Department must first go through a Mock Trial Program. These will be cases made up, with two mock witnesses, and one mock plaintiff. There will then be either one or two Prosecutors, and one or two Public Defenders. You will plead your case. If you do a good job, in my personal opinion, you will be ranked up, whether you win or lose. If you do not do a good job, even if you win, you will be exiled from the division. You may re-apply at a later date.
HOW TO APPLY: PM myself reasons why you think you would be a good Prosecutor or Defender, and any past experiences involving court. Subject(s) for PM: Prosecutor: "MOCK TRIAL PROGRAM: PROSECUTOR" Public Defender: "MOCK TRIAL PROGRAM: PUBLIC DEFENDER"
Any mock trials will be announced in the shout with at least one day's notice. First come, first serve for open Prosecution and Public Defender spots.
NOTE: If there is a very low amount of applicants applying for either job, there will be some taken from the other job at random and placed into the job with the least amount of people. |
