Look at the news to see what I'm talking about. They are making Robloxians more humanlike, and the game more like a stereotypical massive online multiplayer game. They aren't even emphasizing building anymore; it's all just to get robux and wear Shaggys. While we are asking for the same things that we wanted 2 years ago, they are wandering off into some possibility of some better marketing strategy. Just take a look at:
• The stamper tool. Admit it: it's nothing like Roblox Studio. You can't resize the bricks; they're all a multiple of 4 in size and so you can't build anything intricate that isn't as thick as a tree. The wedges look more like Lego bricks. Also, I have noticed a growing amount of new players who have never heard of Roblox Studio and have given up building because of the limited palette. "Welcome to Roblox Building" has kept Guests from deleting whatever you're building, but the added limitations have deluded the victory.
• Terrain. Being so different from bricks, it might as well be in a different game. Sure, the size goes by studs and is easy to use, but you can't treat it as a brick at all. And making the empty baseplate a terrain map? For one, not everyone uses terrain, and two, it's Empty BASEPLATE.
• New physics. Yeah, it's pretty awesome, but it would have been nice to get on it maybe five years ago, when there were less games with huge scripts and different gameplay. A lot of these will be broken and will have to be adapted to work with unfamiliar physics.
• "Age-Up." I'm glad this hasn't been considered very much, but considering it in the first place is just ridiculous. I mean, who has ever heard of a "PG-13" building game? And why would they listen to the dozen people who suggested "age-up" over the hundreds that have asked for things like Dynamic Lighting? Sure, we've been told it will come "in the future." But how long into the future?
Admins, I don't want to sound like I'm complaining. I like Roblox they way it is. I don't want the terrain or stamper tool to be scrapped, instead, I just want these character explorations to stop. Trying to get bodies to look more humanlike just to attract people to this game won't work. The reason Minecraft is going strong is because they aren't questioning or changing the very framework of the game. I mean, where's all the new shapes and Dynamic Lighting? At least finish your promises.
TL;DR: You should read it all if you want to start an arguement. The title doesn't sufficiently summarize the message and isn't an accurate basis for arguing.

Yes, it is, but they can't be treated as bricks and wedges. They made separate tools and textures for it. |

Pretty much.
@ FairKnight
Yes. I know you can still access them, but the stamper tool is nothing like Roblox Studio. Also, hardly any new players know about it Roblox Studio or how to get it open. |

@ FairKnight
Yeah, in "Welcome to Roblox Building" space is limited, but in personal servers or starter places, it is not. However, the palette (all the available items) is very limited. |

It may come back. The consideration they made out of it was unusual. They sounded pretty serious. |
