I was in my English class in school, and kids were debating if people in France speak "American" And they were completely serious. |

American isn't a language, nor will it every be a language. It is English, not even an accepted term for English. |

@n00b
in a technical sense it could be considered a branch of english..... we have slang and such and different conformed vocabularies from britain and old english speaking countries we're different so saying one speaks american english is a good way to say it |

Okay, go say that to the rest of the internet and report back. Because I am seeing a lot of people saying they have "lost faith in humanity" And plus, "losing faith in humanity" is a joke. I would expect that someone with the "higher intellect" that you poses would easily be able to tell this is a joke. |

I will make try to whenever I see something like this. Jokes are supposed to be funny though. |

Jokes ARE made for the purpose of being funny. But the reaction will belong to ones sense of humour. Which I'm pretty sure you knew when you made your comment. |

Again, it is a joke. Not really a joke that appeals to all, but a joke, none of the less. |

Nonetheless the whole "losing faith in humanity" joke is getting a little old now. Not to mention he's still acting like he's some sort of superior. |

How am I acting like a superior? I first acknowledged that I spelled something wrong, and I am simply expressing my disbelief of how bad the school system is, but in a "jokingly" manner. |

Turning jokes into incredibly serious manners aren't normal, but on BLOX, IT IS.
BLOX NOT ONLY ONCE |

It is called a dry joke, you sound serious, but you really aren't. Generally, people don't get the jokes either, and they take them seriously. |
