TWO ANSWERS:
48 ÷ 2 * (9+3)= 48 ÷ 2 * (12)= 48 ÷ 2 * 12= 48 ÷ 24= 2
48 ÷ 2 * (9+3)= 48 ÷ 2 * (12)= 48 ÷ 2 * 12= 24 * 12= 288 |

I gotta try this.
48 ÷ 2 (9+3) = x
48 ÷ 2 x 12 = x
24 x 12 = x
x = 288 |

I learned this in sixth grade, 48/2(9+3)= 24(12)= 288
PEMDAS

I use BODMAS. Which stands for Brackets, Operations, Division, Multiplication, Adding, Subtraction.
My calculation:
48/2(9+3) 48/2(12) 12(12) 12*12 =144
You're using PEMDAS. Which stands for Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition, Subtraction.
Your calculation: 48/(18+6) 48/24 2
