Well they wouldn't survive long, seeing how one state that size cannot hold itself together very long and defend properly.
Plus you can't really count people who lived in the states in this. If you think about it, someone could not have lived to make the inventors that you are mentioning, basically it would be a completely different time line :/ |

The history book is wrong yet again.
The Wright Brothers weren't the first people to fly.
Not tons flew before them, but several have. They were the first to document it. |

Calfornia or New York...
Cali has the money, York has the brains...
I'm in New York, not the city though... |

We have one of the most advanced education guidelines in the states...
Most environmental scientists also come from New York, which is what I want to do. |

yeah, i don't think new york is exactly *famous for it's brains
also, the wright brothers were the ones who capped on flight, which is why they are the ones known for it. |

Ok, we all aren't Italians from New York that have deep Jersey accents...
Anyways, yeah, the people IN the state are pretty braindead, but our education is good for those that care to work for it... |

@Neracus
There are plenty of countries around the world the same size or smaller than most U.S. states, so being small and having a difficult time defending would not be a problem. |
