They can toss some free modeled fat people and a giant burger in and call it a McDonalds tycoon, and it will get front page, whereas a well CFramed, well built, well planned, and well executed, doesn't. Fair enough, I once only used free models until I learned how to ACTUALLY build. But these people know how to build, they just are too lazy to move a few blocks and add a storyline instead of forcing a player to be eaten by a giant chicken or something. Then there's the extra stupid people who have games EXACTLY like what I've just described, and praise it like it's a god , then put down the well made games.
I seriously do not even. |

This has been happening for as long as I can remember. It's just pure laziness, and the game creator will simply not bypass that mental block of laziness until he realizes the fun in actual building.
tl;dr: they are noobs. Noobs do not know how to build. |

| I also have somewhat of a theory growing where they generally cannot think of good ideas for building, which makes it boring. |

| Well, Site, when I think of a game to create on my main (Kkgg), I first will get a general concept design on a piece of paper. After that, I will actually start building, and then in the far end of 'Beta', I will script it. That's the general process for my games. Of course, when one actually puts work into a game, no one joins. That's why I've stopped all progressive moves on my games in general for a good while. |

You needed a way to get people to visit your places back then such as in 2007. I don't even remember how I got my in Most Popular but it seems like they just noticed or there was a certain amount of users.
It went for 2 Years I think. 2009 had around more users who went for Most Popular as much so this couldn't be possible for me anymore. And 2009 was when I retired making places. So pretty much, blame the recent years for the mind of the users. |

@Silency
What was possible? To use free models or to build normally? Also, it was rather unnecessary to add in the petty insult of "noob". Considering my understanding of that word, you're more of the "noob" here. |
