This new idea I have came up with was discovered when I did some volunteering last night at a lacrosse game. I learnt new ways that I believe will be beneficial to the BMHL, and maybe perhaps the RAAAHL as well. Not only will it improve the leauge, but this will also put less stress on me, so I can concentrate with other important thing in my life.
Here is my idea... -It all starts ith the BMHL leauge organization(which is me, and the other commisioners create the season schedule.)
-After that is done, we send out the schedule to all of the team owners.
-Then we send the schedule to the ref commisioner.
-The ref commisioner then takes the schedule, and splits up all of the offical BMHL referees that he, and the leauge chooses, into different games. Note* that 3-4 refs is the maximum allowed per game.
-After that it is now the referees and the teams responsibility to show-up to their game times shown on the schedule.
-All teams must have at least 1 goalie and 3 players in order to play!
-It is the referees responsibility to make sure that all teams have at least 1 goalie and 3 players to play.
-If both teams fail to do so, the referee must PM the Commisioner that the game has been cancelled. However if one of the teams manage to have enough players, but the other dosen't the team with enough players wins by forfeit. Because it is the responsibility for all teams to show-up to their game times(not the BMHL leauge.)
-All games must have at least 1 score-keeper.
-If you can't find a score-keeper you are welcome to have a ref substitute.
-The score-keeper is responsible for keeping track of the clock, score, penaltys and stats of the game.
-The referee is responsible for calling penaltys, suspensions, offsides, icings, faceoffs, out of play, frozen puck, and telling the score-keeper of who got the goals and assists.
-The score-keeper must PM the Commisioner, all of the stats of the game.
-If the Score-keeper does not report to the Commisioner 24 hours prior to the game, the game will be considered cancelled, and rescheduled. Unless the teams explain to the leauge of what happened.
-The Referee is responsible to PM the commisioner of all of the suspensions handed out.
-The Commisioner is then responsible to talk to the player saftey and hockey operations commisioner.
-The player saftey and hockey operations commisioner is now responsible to find an appropriate amount of suspension time, to the player using the BMHL rules, and past history of suspensions.
-If a Referee is not responsible to show up to a game without telling a commisioner. He may be on the verge of being fired, depending on his excuse. Games that have no referees will be cancelled and all of the blame will be on the Referees and us the commisioners.
-Teams that are not responsible for showing up to a game without telling a commisioner, will be faced with two warnings. After the two warnings, the team may be on the verge of being kicked out of the leauge, depending on their excuse.
-Any lying to the commisioner about stats or scores will be further investigated, and the team or player has a chance of being suspended.
If you have anything to add to this new system and rules, I am open to discussion, and I hope you like the new idea.
