I'll give an example:
Scylla
The scylla was my absolute favorite monster from the greek times, her story is a tragic love story having to do with heart break, pain and transformation.
It started with a man named Galus. He was a fisherman who one day found some magic grass, when he put his fish on the grass they cam to life and floped into the ocean. He knew the grass had something to do with magic so like a complete idiot he thought "I wonder what magic grass taste lik" and ate it. Afterwards he had a unresistable calling to the ocean, he knew he shouldn't jump in but he did. Now Poseidon being the kind guy he did gave Galus the ability to breath under water because he ate the grass, so galus himself became a god. He grew a fish tail instead of legs his skin turn sea green and he could telaphicly talk with fish.
Here comes the part about Scylla. She was a private Sea Nymph who doesn't nessasarily like the company of men. One day Galus became upon this wonderful woman and asked for her hand in marriage. She denied him not knowing a thing about him. But galus did not give up. He went to Circe the sorceress and asked her to make Scylla Love him. She imediatly fell in love with Galus and said sure. She enchanted Scylla's bathtub and when she got in she turned to a 6 headed gecko with 12 legs. Galus learned of this and never returned to Circe.
Stories say Scylla Attacked Odysseus's ship on his Journey Home(even though Circe warned him(she fell in love with him to)) and The Scylla was the Monster who attacked Andromida and was turned to stone bye Percius. So Scylla was once a beautiful Sea Nymph turned to a giant 6 headed gecko by a spitful sorceress and then turned to a stone by Percius. The end. |

jeez lots ok I'll take em in order.
Typhon: Most people think of Typhon as a "Titan" Wrong. Typhon a very unique case. He is both god and moster. He is without a doubt, the most powerful most out there. He was tall even for a giant("touched the stars" the story said), had the torso of a man, and instead of legs he had tornados. His hair was snakes similar to medusa's. He also said to have a second mouth( called the "savage mouth") His most Famous story was when he tried to over throw olympus. One day Typhon decided he was tired of being a outcast and sought to over throw olympus. Zues was mad. I mean would you like it if a giant tornado dude came in and trrashed your home? I didn't think so. He decided to take on Typhon. Everyone except Athena fled before the Epic battle could start. The battle was long. Said to last about 3 years but in the end Zues threw Typhon into tartaus into Mount Edna and he was traped under it's weight. Being a fire breathing monster-god, Trying to get out, People belived he cause earthquakes and eruptions from the mountain.
Thats Typhon's story. He also married Enchida and had all kinds of terrifying kids, such as the: hydra, sphinx, Cerberus, and alot others. the end. |

Hunderd-handed-ones:
They are actualy called Hekatonkheires. Again a very unique story. There was 3 Hekatonkheires(can't remeber their names don't ask) and they were minor gods of storms. One controled wind, one controled rain, on controled temprture. Unlike any other god or titan(who were born from Oranus or Gea) was born from the pits of tatrarus. They were literaly born from darkness making them Extremely dagerous. They were so much like Typhon(another storm wielder) that Oranus Feared their power and chained them to Tartarus. However after Zues, Hades, and Poseidon Over threw the titans he unchained them, and their brothers the Kylopes, they became very helpful to the gods controling storms' wind, rain, tempreture for Zues. That's there story. Another good one keep em coming. The end. |

This one isn't very hard. And not a good bedtime story either. One of those and then she was cursed good night kind of story.
Medusa:
Medusa was a beautiful woman who lived in the city of Athens. One day she went to the beach and fondled her hair and there she met Poseidon. They dated, kissed... and other things. Once they did... other things, in one of Athena's Temples and she got P.O.'d Medusa being the dumb, Vain, blonde she was told Athena off(this gets pretty funny) the story said she said "This temple is wasted on a goddess so ugly" and then Athena was "OH NO YOU DIDN'T! I KNOW YOU DIDN'T JUST CALL ME UGLY!" They had a serious women fight while poseidon grabed popcorn and you-tubed it. In the end you can't beat a goddess so Medusa ran to her sisters after the fight, and cried her eyes out. Athena, being the unforgiving type, turned her and her sisters into the 3 gorgons. Medusa being the ungliest can turn people to stone if they look her in the eyes. In the stories Persius killed Medusa to get this creepy king away from his mom. And he did so be using a shield's reflective-ness to see here without, seeing her. He fled the other sisters with some stylin' Air walks Hermes gave him. He used Medusa's head to turn the creepy king to stone, presented the head to Athena, she turned it to a shield. She gave it to Zues, he named it Aegis. Bippity boppity boop there's the story, slightly Umbre-ified. The end. |
