The ROBLOX Forum
Everyday, hundreds of thousands of threads are made on the ROBLOX Forum.
To omit confusion, let me clarify that the ROBLOX Forum includes all of the subsections like "Off Topic", "ROBLOX Talk", and "Clans & Guilds". It is not limited to the ones that have "ROBLOX" in the title.
For years, the classic look of the ROBLOX Forum has stayed when everything else has been updated. I do not suggest you change the style of the ROBLOX Forum, but I would appreciate it if a few small changes are made that will overall improve an individual's foruming experience.

Tracking Threads
To track a thread on the ROBLOX Forum, you must go to the thread and click a checkbox that says, "[E]mail me when someone replies to this thread". After clicking that, you can find the thread in MyForums and not in your [e]mail when somebody replies to it.
This can easily be fixed by changing the text of the checkbox to "Track Thread".
-
After you track a thread, you will find it under "Threads you are tracking:" in MyForums. That is unless, 25 other threads you are tracking have been more recently posted on.
If you have more than 25 threads you are tracking, the less active ones will not be visible unless you delete ones that are. They are still there, but you may not remember they are over time.
The best way to fix this, is to add pages. Make a button say "View next 25 threads" or "Next" under and above your tracked threads.

Thread Titles
After posting a thread, anybody who replies can easily edit the title for their post. A reason a user would do this, is that people can get punished for offensive titles in the original post even if they are just replying and keep the title. Besides that, people can easily change the title slightly and highly offend the thread creator without punishment.
I suggest that the title of a thread may not be changed after the thread is posted, and that users may not be punished for the title of the thread.
-
With the new character limit on thread titles, people have been squeezing in as much as possible. Many thread titles go up to 58 to 60 characters. Whenever somebody replies to a thread, "Re:" automatically goes in front of the title. If the title was more than 57 characters long, you got an error and had to remove the "Re:" or change the title.
Following the update above this, make it so "Re:" is not included in the title or that it is not included in the 60 char limit.

Profile
On every forum page, there is a button that says "Profile" near the top of the page. It is not in the toolbar, this is just for the forum. It takes you to your profile, but why? There is no profile button for the rest of the site, this is simply not needed here.
Remove the button. As a side note, the "Home" button is needed, but is incorrectly placed. Find it a place on the toolbar or on "My ROBLOX".

Forum Rules
On the ROBLOX Forum, many people stay in one or two subsections and not explore the rest. There are certain forum rules and guidelines that are not shown anywhere else except in moderator notes.
In some of the subsections, there are moderator notes that are said to be applied to all subsections, and not just the one it is in. This is a problem, because many of the subsections do not have moderator notes at all.
What I feel would greatly improve the awareness of the forum rules in ROBLOX, is if there is a section of its own that clearly states the forum rules that apply to all subsections. The moderator notes should stay, but it wouldn't hurt to make them more noticeable.

Searching
The search bar works great except for one category. "Posts/Posted By" does not function properly. "Posted By" does the same thing as "Posts".
Fix it so "Posted By" actually coordinates with the poster and not the post's contents.

Sections And Subsections
Part of the reasons for spam on the ROBLOX Forum, is the unorganized sections and subsections of it. There are subsections that need to be move or deleted.
Rate My ROBLOXian, Sports, Music, Movies/TV/Books, and Language Center all need to be deleted. The first one can be done in Forum Games, the next three can be discussed in Off Topic, and the last is just not needed. If you would prefer it, all the posts can be moved to Off Topic and Forum Games before you delete them.
With the subsections we have left, I will state which should be in which section.
ROBLOX - [No Change] ROBLOX Game - Game Design, Look What I Made Help Center - [No Change] ROBLOX Fun - ROBLOXiwood, Role-Playing Entertainment - Off Topic, Forum Games, World Wide Chat ROBLOX Global - [Remove This] Club Houses - [No Change]
Newbies[New Section] - Hi, I'm New!
With these changes to the layout of the forum, I feel that people are more likely to go to the correct subsection.

I recommend that all of these are applied to the ROBLOX Forum, but I will be satisfied if any are. Please read this carefully, many of the ideas have not been mentioned before.
Sincerely, ForumImprovement |

| With a growing community, it wouldn't hurt to throw in a few more forum moderators too. |

The "Profile" button used to bring up your own person forum profile, seperate from your Roblox profile.

And those forums are there for a reason. They do not "need" to be deleted.
People can go to those forums and talk about each specific topic without having to deal with other things that would come from OT.
And filling OT with those 3 threads would be the worst thing. EVAR. |

@MadDog, Even though they never update the look of the forum, they make so many changes to it.
I personally liked the forum profiles, and I am not sure why they took them out. |

@MadDog
Surprisingly, from what I've noticed, OT has been more peaceful than RT as of late. |

| Many subsections of the forum are unneeded because most of them fall under the category of another one. There really is no need to have 6 different subsections for one general topic. |
