| WHy dont they just make C++ gui from the start? I mean why even bother with console? Why? It only makes things harder on the actual programmer learning Cpp. |

| Because that would make it less portable. How possible is it to have a GUI that works equally on a PC and a phone and a calculator? |

| C++ was originally made by the Chinese hackers to hack websites and computers. |

| You need to learn the structure and syntax and how it works before making games. Saying that something will teach you C++ in 24 hours is stupid. |

I hope you're joking. It was made by a Danish dude for systems programming. |

Danish? No wonder its stupid, some idiot probably made it in a different language look i learned all about pointers, and that should b eneugh to start creating games like Call of Duty, right? nope because C+= wants to make it complicated. |

"I hope you're joking. It was made by a Danish dude for systems programming." Yes, originally it was. But about two weeks after the release, Chinese hackers did indeed alter the language a bit. It's usually used as a hacking language now. |

Idk, but it's highly unlikely. Now it's mainly used as a language for game engines and other large scale projects, not hacking. |

"Idk, but it's highly unlikely. Now it's mainly used as a language for game engines and other large scale projects, not hacking." Maybe in your country, but in the US, UK, AUST, Greece, and China it has been mainly used as a hacking language. |

Sam's Teach Yourself C++ in 24 Hours (2nd Edition)
its no jojke, its the real deal. but when i finish reading the book i couldnt remember anything so i burnt the book, then i burnt the biblbe (but thats a diff story).
WHY IS IT SO HARD? C++ should be easy but instead its a bad language. VB.net is a lot hard, but at least it proportional. |

Just - uh - learn Python.
In some years, processors will be so fast that Python will be as fast at C++ is today and C++ will just be too fast for our needs.

I wish what I just said would have been true. |

| Python is a horrible language, you might as well just go with Lisp, because it's already 15x better. |

Well, web applications, then. With HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WebGL.
You can do anything with these. Slow, you say? Haha. Right now, they're fast enough to do whatever you'd want to do, and, in some years, they'll be even faster. |

1) You don't learn C++ in 24 hours.
2) You have to learn to walk before learning to run. |

| C++ has taken me two years to feel comfortable. I wouldn't even consider myself a C++ programmer until 1 year. |
