Also, mage, that wouldn't be possible.
First off, it will only kick players exploiting to give a speed higher then 16. And velocity doesn't effect walkspeed.

Actually most of the speedhacks don't change walkspeed.
Also, that script will think the player is speedhacking if any script changes their walkspeed (gear, or part of your game).
The correct way to do it is to:
1. Check if their position is changing faster than their walkspeed would make them AND 2. Check if their character is falling/not standing up AND 3. If this happens many times, assume they're speedwalking.
At least I think that's the correct way. |

Well, make sure you add a tiny difference so players that get thrown wouldn't be removed.

It's actually the speed (Frame Rate) of the client. Presuming the client's frame rate won't go above like 60 FPS, you can easily use wait() to calculate the frame rate in a local script. If it goes past 60, they're speed hacking.
That simple. :) |

| ............ He got it right the first time guys............ Speedhackers use Cheat engine, a program that finds the adress to values in game clients. Basicly, the person finds his walkspeed value, and then changes the value to some extremely high value. |

ROBLOX already detects when the client's speed is overclocking, and it will disconnect them. The vids that appear to be client side overclocking are very old.
The OP is correct, in that all new speedhacks use walkspeed. Also, the walkspeed is separate from the Velocity, so under no circumstances would anyone get falsely kicked (unless an admin changes another person's walkspeed). |

| Speed hacking speeds up the client - it doesn't increase the walkspeed. The way to detect it would be to check whether the client is going faster than the server through the use of tick() or wait(). What I did was compare the time tick() gave with the server's time using workspace.DistributedGameTime and see if it was going considerably faster. It would kick people who were lagging a lot, too. |

| Pig, that's not the only speedhack though. The CE speedhack aims for walkspeed. It has nothing to do with browser speed. It just changes values by targetting their adresses. |

I made an error in the script by typing "pair" instead of "pairs".
