What processor powered you PC in the following years?

Wait, how many years are you to know what processor you had in 1999?
2005: Pentium 4 3.0GHz MT 2010: Intel 980X Extreme (I do a lot of video editing and effects) When I have money and something significantly better exists: Something significantly better. |

My previous one was intel core 2... quad? (i think, it was something liek 2.33 Ghz/core)
Now i can has intel i5 2500 (cuz i herd i7 isnt that much better unless you has uber multithreading, i didnt has "k" version cuz i dun overclock eeeewt)
Idk about next one, depends when this one breaks and how much money i will have. |

right now, Intel i5 2500K 3.3 GHZ, not over-clocked. This one dude said his processor was better than mine, it was overclocked to 3.0 GHz. search "Pentium 4 - 5GHz overclocked" on youtube. It's pretty cool, he uses liquid nitrogen to cool it. There's some other results that look cool aswell. |

| The Pentium 4 artitecture was horribly slow. That's why they completely dropped it and went back to the Pentium 3 artitecture to make the Core series. I'd bet that a 4GHz Sandy Bridge i7 is faster than a 20GHz Pentium 4 (just imagine it exists) |
