Can I go to a school with a few more... um... sensible, smart, non-jocky, nice people?
Everyone at my school thinks it's cool to hate everything. They also think you can only be cool (by their definition) if you're in sports. In comm arts, we had to write poems. Mine went something like this:
Oh the blue ocean, waves so high blue blue blue just like the sky as the view sinks in all I can think is how far in, these feelings can sink (I had a brain fart, which is why my poem wasn't up to my standards)
Then another kid wrote a poem:
when my brother brave enough climb rock wall and broked his arm
He got an A. I got a B.
I don't belong here. GET. ME. OUT. |

Ok, confession time ladies. The other boy's poem has more. It went something like this...
when my brother brave enough climb rock wall and broked his arm we drived to ER doctor said you must need stitches boy chuckle my brother brave enough climb rock wall no more my brother still have cast
Yes, English IS, in fact, his first language. And his only language, for that matter. It's quite obvious that he lacks the capability to learn another language. |

| Teacher may have been grading on use of intelligence. You may have done well above him, but not near your full capabilities, and he may have done well below your level, but was too incompetent to do better, so he got an "A for effort". |

@awd
We were given guidelines for our poem, which he failed to follow, and they were easy.
Guideline 1: Rhyme He's already failed. Yet he gets an A? We weren't graded on effort. |

| I tried to be homeschooled. Parents never listen. They act like it affects their stay at home mom careers more than it does my education. |
