No, Green Day, Sum 41, Blink-182, Simple Plan, etc, do not count as punk bands. Just clearin' that up. So, does anyone like bands like Bad Religion, The Clash, Crass, Anti-Flag, Choking Victim, 7Seconds, Rancid, F-Minus, Aus-Rotten, The Stupid Stupid Henchmen, etc? They're pretty cool.
On another note, are there any old MTers left?? I can just see a page of dubstep and spam. It's lonely already. :(

| Favourite Clash album? Mine's either The Clash or London Calling. |

Hmmm.... I could never really get into DK. Fresh Fruit For Rotting Vegetables is good, but apart from that I can't really find much that I like. Misfits are amazing though. :D I don't understand the hate on their newest album, though, I think it's pretty sick.

Yeah, it's called The Devil's Rain, I think it came out last year. My favourite songs from it are The Devil's Rain, Twilight Of The Dead and Vivid Red. Twilight's probably the best though. :p

ohai kitten
But I'm not really the big punk fan I'd like to be. I do like Black Flag, Minor thread, and some crossover thrash acts like Municipal Waste, and Stormtroopers of Death. |

ohai dude I remember you telling me about Stormtroopers, they're really good. Haven't listened to Municipal Waste yet, though, but I'll (probably) get around it it eventually.

">Municipal Waste What does this have to do with punk?"
I brought up how I listen to some crossover thrash bands. Municipal Waste is crossover thrash. |

What does this have to do with punk? __ Crossover thrash/crossover is basically punk metal. Kinda like "extreme" hxc, so it's technically still punk.

Awesome, sounds strangely familiar though. My brother's probably played it at some point, I think he likes MW. Definitely gonna check out more by them.. they kinda remind me of a thrashier/heavier/whatever-you-wanna-call-it version of Madball... Hmm. (I have no idea what I'm on about, as usual)
