IDEA: Create a reform system where we demote all of the immature, friend-promoted, inactive, and underdeserving officers, removing the ones that do not deserve the positions.
MAKING IT WORK: First, a FEARmeeting will be held to figure out the details, and ensure everyone agrees. Then, an investigation will be held on all Officers, where we hold fake trainings, where we go undercover as a private to see their treatment of these ranks (Let's say, a PVT puts on the wrong uniform). Do we get an immature "PUT ON UR UNIFORRRMMM BEFOR I DEMOT YOU!11!!", or a mature "Put on your uniform.", we give some of them extra powers (Shout, etc), and see what happens. Do we get the OFFs freaking out over it representing power hungyness (Those ones get demoted), or do we get ones that use their "new power" for good, and host trainings, etc. We will also go to alianor and create a list of ones with no grammar, ones that are underdeserving, etc. This way, the OFFs remaining deserve their rank.
ISSUES:
1 - Most OFFs are promoted by friends, resulting in corrupt generals almost copying the RAT supervisor issue.
2 - Some OFFs are power hungry, and will do anything for a promotion.
3 - Some OFFs are disrespectful to COL+, and I have seen some saying "WELL IM AN OFF I DON'T NEED TO LISTEN TO YOUR ORDERS".
4 - I have yet to see one SERIOUS Off. Why?
RESOLVING IT:
- Hold the fake trainigs, see how issues are resolved. Demote the ones that don't handle it properly.
- PM the OFFs, and see what ones respond in a week. If they don't, they are inactive, then, demote.
- Check the profiles. what ones have FEAR info on it? Half of them have "visit my place" NOT "I am a FEAR officer" on them.
- Be left with 50-70 officers, with the remaining ones having proper skills.

hmm interesting.
maybe not fake trainings, but real trainings while we have an alt survey the training. Like a general or colonel gives an officer the power to lead a training and leaves the server to go on an alt.
If it's organized terribly, then there's something wrong with that officer.
The officers will not know if they are being watched by these colonels or generals.

Good idea.
There's also the Officers that beg for their promotion to Officer.
Also, some of the Officers at one of my private meetings had been assigned to watch over certain Officers and record proof of any negative actions they make. |

I'm just sick of the officers who keep asking for admin. KEEP, tell them once they ask in another training then another. It sounds good to me.

| In the end, it narrowed down to two people, anyway. It started with the full meeting room, then 4 people, then 2 were removed, then me and cole designed it. So you would of just been eliminated anyway. |

| But isn't it flawed when you announce the reform? Wouldn't it have been better just to tell the HRs in private so Officers couldn't prepaire? |

This has been a hot button issue for a while now, I have seen many officers abuse their ranks, but i fear reporting them as an officer myself does not put into effect the result i'm looking for.
I have met plenty officers as well who are immature to the point of confusion, Hence bad grammar, swearing, Immaturity beyond belief... I've met some people at Alianor that i thought were PVT's or not even in FEAR and turned out to sadly be officer, And all i could do is ask myself "Where do the Generals Find these people".
I for one support this reform, Even i recieve a demotion in the result of it, I believe the rank officer is supposed to be a respected and trusted rank, not to be trusted in the hands of a Child of No Bearing. A reform was successful for the Colonels and generals, So now it must be passed onto the officers, Most likely this will result in the weeding out of those who do not deserve their rank, The ones who Rage, Threaten, Exploit, And eventually quit. It will be messy at the start, but i feel it is quite necessary.
Those who should be allowed to call themselfs an Officer Of First Encounter Assualt Recon Are those few who you could envision as being a colonel one day.
Sorry For the Essay, i feel this is a touchy subject, But it has to be addressed.

I'm an officer, I like to think i would be involved in the discussion of an officer reform, Regardless i put my input in because i am on the front lines of these things every day.
I try to be as serious as i can about this rank, and am simply putting my opinion out there, And also i'm respectfully responding to something that you have worked on, for what seems like al ittle bit of your time. |
