Blegth....
I saw the insane damage dealt (I think it was trillions, but it may have been billions), and I though to myself, "This looks fun. I'll get it if it's localized." Then I saw the excessive fanservice of the worst type possible and the 17+ rating it got in Japan and though to myself, "No way. What. So. Ever."
Anyone ever decide against getting a game for a non-gameplay component? |

| I think it can be translated to Infinite Souls, and I recall there is a custom character in it, before I saw THAT. Dunno if Mugen means Infinite, or it's just a title used for the localization. |

I'm fine sticking with Agarest, though. As far as SRPGs go, it's like the opposite of Disgaea:
Agarest vs. Disgaea Need to use all 6 character vs. 1 out of 10 Grind for materials and make/upgrade your own equipment vs. Buy equipment and upgrade it by fighting in it Make and buy skills vs. learn them through leveling. etc vs. etc.
Pretty much making your own stuff versus getting it more easily. |
