First off, it would be a very backwards society. The inventors will not share their inventions unless they are paid vast quanitities of money, and importers of foreign goods will only sell their goods for exorbitant prices. Crime would be rife in this Capitalist nation. The only police are only available for hire, with the same for soldiers. The government would be riddled with corruption and scandal, as all the members of the government are the owners of big business. They will pay and lie and cheat to stay in power. They only tax for their own profit. The people would be weak and stupid, as the state provides no health or education. The only education and healthcare is available to those who have the money, which the masses don't. Trade unions are banned, and the workers live in terrible conditions, with meagre pay, to maximise their bosses profits. There is no welfare, or rules stating the basic rights of the workers. A great many starve in times of famine, when food prices skyrocket and their pay remains minescule. The state has little real power beyond its own borders. It does not export a great deal, as the population is small despite industrialization.
I could go on all day about this.
CONCLUSION: CAPITALISM IN ITS PURE FORM IS NO BETTER THAN COMMUNISM IN ITS PURE FORM
UMAD PEPPER& OTHER AMERICAN NATIONALISTS?!?!?!? |

| IMHO, capitalism is not what we live in- the system breeds too many monopolies and big business, which isn't capitalism. |

Fully liberal society:
People too lazy to leave their couches are payed as much money as people who work for it, and money's value decreases greatly. We are launched into depression and we suffer an economic failure. Everyone sees no need to work because people are payed greatly with unemployment checks. Everyone quits and almost every business closes up shop.
Not much better than your exaggerated visualization, hm? |

"Fully liberal society:"
Either you are trolling, or so stupid to think that liberalism is the polar opposite to capitalism.
You know, liberalism is nothing to do with economics, and capitalism is nothing to do with social science.
Overall, learn2economics. |

You're all idiots.
OP- America used to be a full capitalist society, until WW1. Then it became less and less until it became what it is today, which is a pseudo-communist country.
What is a pseudo-communist country? A pseudo-communist country is a country in which there are a crap ton of regulations making new business a near-impossibility. It then blames everybody else when its own economy fails, and tries to save its "big" industries, rather than allow them to fall and fail as they should.

| Non-regulated fully capitalist economy would lead to biggest companies making trusts and other monopoly BS effectively killing everything else but themselves. |

@Fizzy
In a libertarian society with a left leaning social climate and a capitalist economy, the average person would work for a local business and buy everything from similarly local, family owned stores. If a person were to be incapable of working, he would be cared for by his family, or if that is impossible or simply not done, the government would compensate.
But youknow, just keep upholding the idea that everything bad in society is the liberal's fault and everything good is the conservatives' doing. Our current system is rife with corruption because it's easy for companies to get a near monopoly on something if they're already big enough, and then they just get more power and money because they already have power and money, and use this to lobby and bribe until they get their own way. Liberals generally support regulating companies more and reducing their power over elections, however, the conservatives typically oppose this.

| The same could be said of saying that everything bad is the fault of capitalism. |
