Lol, in Filipino it isn't "Hoy". Well, it isn't the formal one, it's like saying "YO!", in English. Also, most of us Filipinos say "Hello" because our parents teach us how to speak English a mostly, rather than our native language in our early childhood. (Lol, I know more English than Filipino. XD) We usually say "Kamusta", or "Kumusta".
