| The ID of the item... For instance, if you wear a T-Shirt into game it has to draw its texture from somewhere. It does the from the site of the item number - 1 unless there is an item in the way in which case it is a few lower usually. |

Yes, except that the asset is ROBLOX's record of the image/model/mesh, etc. If you wanted to use it in game, for instance, re-texturing a hat, you'd need to use the asset, not the item.

On every page, whether it's a game or stuff or people ,the address bar has a number at the end. this post's asset id is PostID=66849570 When you go to a game, a model ,or a persons page the id number is in the address bar.
When dealing with stuff you need to subtract one from the page ID number to get the item number. |
