Now, I recently read an article about things which defy scientific explanation. Whilst scrolling though it, I saw a very interesting one about a boy. Ok, I lied, it was a news feed about a boy who has lived TWO years without a brain. That really startled me, because according to science, the brain controls EVERYTHING in the body. In fact, the doctors said it wouldn't last a few hours hout of the womb, so its amazing it survived two years. If this child doesn't have one, then HOW in the hell is he alive? So this is just one of the things which I found here.
Another one is less scientific and more spiritual, but still interesting. I watched a documentary on weather the mind does live on even when the body is dead. So in the documentary, they tested cardiac arrest patients or some people like that in particular, because they are most likely the people who have come close to(if not have) dying. Most of them stated they had seen the world through a new light, and were so extremely happy for some reason, despite them knowing they are dead. One of them even claimed she had seen the people do surgery on her from above and DESCRIBED all the tools they used on her, despite her being blindfolded (with tape) and clearly asleep. That find was amazing.
Well, that's why I believe in spirits or at least, that the mind (your conscious) escapes the body after you die. Now, I am not saying that is true, but I would rather be happy than right. I mean, who would rather die knowing that when you do, you will go to heaven or whatevs rather than knowing that once you die, that's it?
Maybe emos or some people, but not me! Screw that! I wanna go partying with god in heaven, not stay in a hole for eternity! |

The Universe is run by maniacs.
Life, it's a game of chance.

Living without a brain is truly impossible unless there is something else providing a source for the pulse and a signalling point. So we can have substitutes.
But I get your point. |

| Science doesn't explain everything. But that doesn't mean you can go around around filling in the blanks with crap. |

@blob Look, there are certain things , rules, to follow when studying things in science. The subject is supposed to link together and make SENSE! If we have a huge amount of holes in science, then we are either doing science itself wrong or we are looking at things in a very narrow minded fashion and generally have EVERYTHING wrong.
Science should have no holes in it, it's science! |

@llama
But there shouldn't be scenarios where scientists say stuff like "that can never be explained" and things along those lines. |

How is "he" alive? Perhaps you didn't read it all. "He" is on life support.
Asphyxiation gives a high. It is also common to see a white light from asphyxiation, a very similar effect to seeing stars, except in a more concentrated form. This is called whiting out if you go from conscious to this state without dying. |

| Also, for the record, I am an atheist and the happiest I've ever been. I'm just really ticked off that someone witch a dense mind such as you is even allowed to exist. |

@rot,
He is not on life support.
And also, if I were as stupid as you think I am, is that why on multiple occasions, i have posted on your threads and won the argumens in which you tried desperately to keep afloat? |
