Days, months, years. Nice and ordered right?
So 20/4/2012, which is today, makes sense. As it's the 20th of the 4th of the 12th. Simple.
Buuuuut then the American dates come along -.-
[Insert herp derp guy here] 4/20/2012, the 4th which it is the 20th of in 2012 (idek)
WHY? Why must America complicate things >.< |

Because of the way it is laid out, I like things to be simple, ordered and easy to read.
Having to go back and forth to understand it is confusuing, plus for other parts of the world the American dates just get on peoples nerves, because 08/03 for you is different from what the rest of the world perceives it as. There is no need for the dates the be reordered, timezones and times are acceptable but the guy who messed with the Dates to make America seem more independent is stupid. |

After a little more research, it appears it comes from the way it is said over there, "I was born February the 21st, 1995", over here we say it (or at least I do) "I was born on the 21st of February, 1995."
I still don't understand WHY it was rearranged, it feels more natural to say the latter. |

| To americans, it's more natural for us the other way. Amazing how people can differ just because of the way they're taught the dates, eh? |
