Idea #1
(Needs a plot/conflict...)
Utopia
We live in a perfect world, no harm, no crime. Advances in technology have given us better houses, larger numbers of crops, and most importantly, a longer life. In our little world known as Valia Doftnia, the citizens are urbane and generous, they have hand selected jobs that refine our city to become the best it can be. Welcome to our utopia.
Idea #2
(Have the conflict on this one, but need an exact setting, along with: an enhanced plot, CS and rules.)
'Tis the Season
Barren and cold winters, hot and humid summers, we live. It's almost as if Mother Nature wants was killed. Blasting us with leaf monsters from the Fall, blizzards and snow devils (My take on the "snow angel") from the winter, they all want us dead. The only thing that we look forward to is the Spring, and even then who knows what will happen. Perhaps humanity will "Spring" to life. Or maybe....no let's not think about maybe.
Idea #3
...
A combination of the first two.
Idea #4
(So far doesn't have a genre, plot conflict, or anything else. >.>)

| Oh I think the Utopia idea is a good one. It reminds me of a song I heard before. If you combined 1 and 2 I have an idea for that. |

| To be honest, I personally prefered the idea of combining the first two... So let's do it. :D |

Idea 3 Is probably the best Idea here, But I think that the utopia is just one city, And are exclusive and don't let outsiders in, who then throw a Revolution, since they are providing food for them?

| I myself like Idea #3, and the Utopia is just one city, but why the Revolution? |

Without Some interaction to the outside, what is the point in the 2nd idea. The revolution would be there just to add some conflict so its not like "i walked to the store" "I bought coffee" "I saw snow giants, but they got shot up by our turrets" "I went home"
"i slept"
"I slept" "Slept some more."
etc,. |

| Good thinking, and shall these monsters attack at the same time as the Revolution, so to cause further damage? |

Yes, and the Revolutionaries should have somehow been able to train a small amount of these monsters to attack with. But, a small amount, There is still a gargantuan Amount of untamed ones. |

| Well you have the utopia but since nothing is perfect and all that stuff there is a problem. The monsters. Soon these monsters get ready to take over the city, and kill all the people. But a person from outside comes to tell the people of the city of this.... Actual utopia. Only a few citizens are brave or crazy enough to risk leaving the city and going to this real utopia. The imperfect Utopia could be like... The middle lands. |

| Wait, perhaps we could have this rebellion be a background thing/motive for the quest to the real utopia, and we could have the monsters be the enemies for the characters. |

| That would work. So the people of the fake Utopia have 2 enemies.... The rebels and the monsters. After a few years of fighting a few people find that there is no way that they will win or lose. When they hear the news of a real utopia they must travel to it while defending themselves against the monsters and the rebels? |

| Yes, brilliant. (Wow, this is.... going really fast. :D) Now we just need to form the rules, geography, the CS, monsters (Perhaps they shouldn't be based on season, but location.) and..... anything else? |

Should work, now I'll make the rules...
1: Limited romance. 2: No God modding/Mary (or Gary) sues. 3: Be descriptive with your CS, I don't want the admins (Or myself for that matter) to have to read through utter crap. Make it good. 4: Don't kill other peoples' characters with out the other's permission. 5: If you are reading this PM (Private message) an admin or me the code phrase "New Hope". 6: My word>Admins' word>Your word 7: No astrikes (*'s) while not in OoC (Out of character). 8: Acceptable grammar is a MUST, but you should already know this... 9: More rules will be added with time. |

The journey to the real Utopia should be long, but not to long. I was thinking that maybe the fake Utopia could be situated on a smallish mountain. There are a few forests on and around this mountain. The land around the mountain is a mixture of plains, forests. Lakes and rivers dot this land. It is pretty big. Then the vegetation slowly dies out and you would enter something like a wasteland. The land would be rocky and in some places there would be small deserts. Finally after a while the land gets better and you reach some cliffs. If you climb down them, or go through something like a cave system, you would reach an ocean or sea... Finally you would take a boat to the real utopia, which is on an island. I tried to put in a lot of different types of terrain that way you can have more than a few types of monsters. |

~'\Utopia/'~
After many years, nations rise and fall. Former world powers become withering molds of dust, same with the others, falling short of world domination. On the year 2750, all nations died. Ranging from America to China, from Japan to Brazil, to Italy unto Great Britain, all of them had died. A murder it was, the killer being a duet, a duet of trained assassins, planning to destroy the world. The duet consisted of Humanity and War.
Out of the nations' ashes, a city rose. The city started out small, as with any other city. The city was declared Valia Doftnia, and laws were set, laws that would shape the land into a utopia. Vaila Doftnia has no theft, no murder, no crime what-so-ever rules this land. And luckily, you were born here. Born with the the guarantee that you will never be harmed, verbally or physically. Vaila Doftnia has a power like no other, a power to end hunger, poverty, and strengthen security, however, power comes with a price.
The citizens rebelled against the aristocracy, striking down many officers, beating officials. It brought down nearly half of the empire. This didn't stop the higher power, as they began fighting as well. Both sides clashed for more than twenty years, spilling red on the green grass. To make matters worse, vicious creatures from the unknown have come, causing casualties for both sides of the civil war. It seems as if the war will never end, that you will keep fighting for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, even though the pursuit will never end in happiness, just more and more bloodshed.
This is when you learn of an actual utopia, one that will never die. At first you think that those were just rumors passed around, so you stay. And then you think, think of the possibilities of true life, true liberty, and true happiness. You know of the dangers, that those monsters that attacked Valia Doftnia are still out there, waiting for you to come. You know that this is probably going to result in your death, but you can't resist. You decide to leave this rat-of-a-city in search of a better life, in search of the true Utopia... |
