It has been a long time since I have been on ROBLOX but one of the things I remember the most about what the community needed to improve upon was how to make money on the TC.

Now, there are many guides out there on the basic strategy to make tix/robux on TC, but by using what I like to call "TC etiquette," everybody can make more money than before. I am assuming people who read this will know basic strategy, so I won't be explaining it. Now, since it has been a long time since I have used the TC, there will probably be things that I will forget to mention that people can add on, but I will make sure to say the first things that come to mind. If this gets long I will add a TL:DR version as a reply.

1. Always use a calculator. This rule is a given and I'm pretty sure everybody does, but just in case you don't, start using one.

2. Especially when you're making very large trades, always make sure that your larger trade will happen after another person's smaller trade by asking for slightly more tix/robux in return (base it off of the trade with the first person who is trading more robux/tix than you, make your trade happen before their's). This is a VERY important rule. This will help them and more importantly you make more money faster and I will explain why. The amount of extra tix/robux that you will make by asking more for your trade will balance out the extra time it will take for the other person's trade to be fully traded. Now, this can be different if the other person's trade is only slightly less than yours, but that is rarely the case I'm seeing on the TC. This rule will also help keep the trade values spread out, because when you put a giant trade all the way at the front, people will not want to wait for yours and start putting all their trades in front of yours, which is the reason for my third rule.

3. If you have lots of money, keep the trading amounts low. This will benefit you more than other people, but will still benefit everyone. In stead of setting one 20000 robux trade, set a 1000-5000 robux trade, wait for it to be traded, set another (you can also set a tix trade with the tix you now have), and repeat. This will make you more money faster for two reasons. A: people will be less likely to put their trades in front of yours and B: when you put the 20,000 robux trade up, when people use market trades to get those robux, the math doesn't always work out perfectly, so it will give you more tix in return for your robux. To compensate, it will also lower the value of your remaining robux. The lowered value of your robux can sometimes drop enough for people to make more robux market trading than they will limit trading and will rack up your robux for less than you first set them to be worth. If you set the Robux to lower amounts, you will still get increased value for your robux, but you will be able to reset the value after it gets compensated. This especially true when you are trading tickets.

If anything else needs to be added, please post about it.

TL: DR version

1.Always use a calculator

2.Make sure your trade will happen after a lower amount of robux/tix is being traded

3 If you are trading large amounts, keep your trades in smaller portions

I know it works for you, but if you take the time to learn my method not only will you make more money but it will be nice for everybody else using the TC as well.

I have lost much more than that many times before because of simple typos like forgetting a zero. That brings up a good point. Rule number 4.

4. ALWAYS double check or be very careful what you are trading. When you are making many trades over and over, even if you have a 1% chance of making a mistake, you're still eventually going to make that mistake and lose a ton of money. This can only be beneficial to YOU. In fact it is beneficial to other people if you don't follow this rule.

I don't use a calculator because when I TC I do it by 1,000 R$ at a time to save time, like 1k for 9850 then 9340 for 1k So all my profit is in tix.

I don't know how accurate that is, but it seems like it can be accurate enough if you do it right. Also keeping all your trades at 1000R$ a trade is very good etiquette, so if that works for you, keep it going.

You guys are aware that currency trading is zero-sum, right?

There is no way for *everyone* to make more money.

Yes, but there are plenty of people using market trade because they just want to get the money fast and don't care about getting the best value out of it. They haven't all read the guides.

There will be people at loss if everybody employs this etiquette. There are some people that make money off the TC differently. I know of some people who wait for the spread to become negative, then put in a market trade. They will perform the trade much faster and it will always make them more money. There is nothing wrong with this strategy, it is actually good for the TC in some ways. I occasionally will do that when I'm really focused on the TC. Unfortunately if everybody performs with this etiquette, the spread will become negative much less often making it much harder to make money that way.
