A Bard's Life
Note- For those of you who don't know, there are two types of bard. The average lute playing, flute blowing one, or the one that adventures looking for (normally) history-based items. You are this kind.
--------------------------------------------
The kingdom of Aquor is laced with legends and mysteries where Bards all around want to get a piece of it. Many think that the stories of artifacts hovering around Aquor are fake, though others look at them with a different approach. Bards think that all of these are true, and will stop at nothing to achieve their goal of obtaining them. Though to get them they will have to go through a life time of mystery, questions, battles, and adventures.
Many Bards have searched for these tresures, though none of succeeded in finding them.. so far. If you were to obtain them, it is your choice to consider the outcome you want this precious item to end in. Possiably give it to a musuem, sell it to a merchant for a large amount of coin, or use it for your own purposes. The outcomes are endless.
Brace yourself to be encountered by beasts, bandits, pigs, thieves, and quite possiably creatures on the more demonic side. Though, hopefully you will come across some good aswell. Possibly a companion, a citizen that points you in the right direction, or simply a villager that gives you something to eat for your travels.
There will hopefully be more Bards then artifacts, so it will most likely be a race to whoever figures out where the artifact is first. But you do have an option to ally yourself with other Bards and form a group to find the artifact. Just be wary of betrayal..
Note- If you do figure out one, you can always move on to another one. Also, you have to figure out about the legend first before you go searching for it.

(Aquor is one large continent, that of the known world, seperated in territories.)
Geography:
Orchraesta- This is the most populated territory. It is the uttermost central of Aquor. The very top is sea, west is Trinton, going all around the west border, south, and half of the east. The other half is Pymf. Nearly no vegetation remains in Orchraesta due to the rapid raise of growing civilazation.
Trinton- Densly packed with forests, this large territory is not very populated. It's actually near oppiosite to Orchraesta, even though they both nearly completely border each other. To the east is Huytre, and same bordering description as seen in Orchraesta.
Indra- Indra is the eastern of all territories. The entire western part of the Territory is facing the ocean. It is a more tropical place, palm trees and all. It stretches all throughout the east, and some of the southern part of the land. The only Territories bordering Indra, both to the west, are Pymf, more to the North, and Huytre, more to the south.
Pymf- This entire territory is a desert. Civilaztion doesn't exactly thrive, and there are more then a few desert bandits. North and west is Trinton, East Indra, and south Huytre. Near the border, Indra and Pymf sand mix, causing an odd fertile soil. Suprisingly, this is where most of the farming in Aquor is done.
Huytre- A very mountainus, rocky place. The southern most Territory, although it is strangely cooler than all the other Territories. North to it is Pymf and small bit of the West Indra. All the rest of the outlining areas is sea.

Legends-
The Gem of Murtle: It was rumored that long ago, there was a jeweler named Murtle. He was valued for his work and could cut diamonds extremely precise. His jewels were always radiant and caught the eyes of many. Many say Murtle was so talented at his work, the king and queen would frequently request for diamonds and gems cut and perfected by him. Eventually, when he was old and wrinkled, Murtle wanted to make one final, last work to be remembered by. He spent countless days searching for a diamond or gemstone worthy of this final work. It was reported that eventually, he found a large diamond that had an unnatural, yet strangely attractive sort of feel to it. This was the diamond he deemed worthy, and, despite being near death, he went to work. After days of shaping and forming, the gem was radiant and seemingly glimmered with energy. Murtle died shortly after he finished his final project, but it is rumored that this gem is still somewhere, still glimmering with that same energy it had before.
(Near Central Orchraesta)
Barkala's Revenge: Barkala was said to be a Necromancer that had gone a little bit over the edge of sanity. He practiced the dark arts in a far off forest, within a small wooden cabin. Many passerbys, most commonly younger ones, mocked him and vandilized his cabin. One day, a boy around sixteen took it too far. He had set Barkala's yard on fire, near where one of his bodies were kept for safe keeping. Barkala unleashed his inner strength, actually raising the dead of multiple corpses instead of just one. Legend has it his dead dragged the boy into his cabin, where Barkala himself proceeded to kill him. Afterwards, the souls of the dead were transferred into an emerald ring the boy was wearing. Days later, a mob from the boy's village came to the cabin and burned it to the ground, with Barkala still in it. After the villagers left the rubbage of the cabin, it is seemed never to be found again.
(Northern Trinton)
Diction of the Dead: This is a scroll deciphering the dead's language. A young man named Slenter had been apart of a study group, who were actually trying to figure out the passeds' tongue. His name was named Sutter and after his peers numerously disrespecting them, he decided to go solo and took all his work and some of the others'. Along the way, he found a tower half-buried in sand on the shoreline of Aquor. He decided to check it out, and looked around inside. Bits and parts were flooded, but he decided this would be the only suiteable place to do his studies. His only food supplies were the rats of the tower and an occasional fish that somehow got into the tower. After decades of researching, he finally deciphered it. Sutter raised all the dead within the large tower, which was quite a bit within the tower. He was deemed as Slepker. Slepker was now the ruler of the dead within that tower, and from that day on he continued his dark research with his new undead servants.
(North Western Indra)
The Orb of Deception: This glass sphere beholds the treachry of one group. It was a band of bandits, staying at a inn within a small desert village. The word of the group had actually gotten to the village, although they were only after one of them. He was an master thief, stealing many valuable things. A large bounty was placed on his head, saying that he was wanted dead. The bandit goup itself heard of the large amount of coin for their fellow criminal's life. One, being skilled in the form of dark magic, had a solution to their problem. He had purchased an average glass ball, then charmed it to have an life-taking electric shock. The slightest touch would kill. It was a one time spell, so after activated the gem would aswell not be fit for any more charming. He placed behind the inn, then charmed it. He then proceded to go into the inn and tell the thief of a valuable orb behind the building. He fell for it, being fried in an instant. The bandit group turned his body in, and got the reward. They stayed in the inn for another night. During that time, one of the thieves friends was filled with grief. He couldn't take having the orb remain near him, so he proceeded to take the orb out to the desert and bury it. No one knows where, though this tale has been repeated many time in the Desert area, some people placing high prices for the finding of this orb.
(South East Pymf)
The Wolf of Gore: According to myth, there is tell of a two-headed wolf creature, thought to lure travelers into it's cave and tear them to shreds. Some believe this, but others think of a different tale. It is said to be in the deepest parts of this unknown cave; there are also rumored to be valuables of its victims scattered throughout the cave.
