/WIJ|Training\ It has come to my attention that WIJ has taken a fall when it comes to training out members. True members are getting trained but they are not getting rewarded for it; this is due to people hosting ‘Unofficial Training’. Though we do allow people to host Unofficial Training it has got out of hands. The ‘UF-T’ as I would call it is now even more popular than training itself and I think this is simply because people think they can get away with a lot more there. However I do know that some of our SGTs do it because they have nothing else to do. So I have some proposals that I will state in the forum below. [CP for Training] As well as giving out CP to the people you train I am going to give out CP to officers that do training and does it well. The basic way this will work is when you train people 1 person from that training will have to write a quick overview on your training and send it to me. I will then reward the officer if he does good training, however if a negative report is given I will first try to resolve why this is and if I see that the report is Legit warnings will be given out. These warning will build up and at the end of the month CP will be taken from officer who does not train well; this is just to ensure that whist the trainees are behaving so is the officer teaching them. [Unofficial Official Training] This is mostly aimed at SGTs, they are the main people who like to do a unofficial training and they are at the moment our best bet at getting allot of promotions done and quickly. So as of today if you are a SGT that likes to train allot and does host allot of unofficial training can speak to me about gaining an official title. However this official title will state that you can do official training and I will give out CP and Promotions accordantly. Do note that this title will only grant you the ability to do official training at an official WIJ Training base. [Base Training] I myself like to do training more so in WIJ official bases. This training is mostly for fun however it is very affective when there are no hostiles. Over time our bases have become more and more barren and if we just give them a little more love they will be tended back to health. In order to do this I propose that more Officers and SGTs do on sight training. If you ever find yourself without hostiles in a base you could do some basic exercises that you could otherwise not do if you were not at the base itself. This includes tactics, hotspots and all that sort of things, as well as that getting to know the map better. Allot of our older WIJ Hrs like myself like to tell people to go to section A-E and people do listen to that however some newer members do not know this, it would be great that if all people at the base did this. [Suggestions] Not enough suggestions are given to me these days yet some people expect me to do what they want. The only way I can give you what you want and make something happen in WIJ is if you come to me, you could message me or talk to me through XF (TheNerdyDave) either way I would be happy to hear them. I will award some CP for any good suggestions and aditinal CP if we end up using that Suggestion.
That’s all for now, WIJ Brig Signing out, Peace.

Actually, unofficial trainings are not more popular it's just that they are something to do when there's not a real training.

| Actually on my ALT Studies I've found that unofficial trainings are VERY common when official trainings aren't really at all compared to unofficial trainings. |

I have a suggestion: When STA Trainers/officers train WIJians, they should have their training's observed by colonels every two weeks, just to check if they are training well and making sure they're training correctly. If they train good, they get cP. Like you said. Wait, is this suggestion the same as yours? Oops...

| And also, I feel EVERYONE in the server should wear a uniform Even with teams I've found some trainers don't wear uniforms when training. |

I like the idea of Trainers earning cP. I currently have 0cP, and I find it hard to earn cP as an Officer that had been promoted to that rank before the mainframe. I hope this works out.
Also, if you don't mind I have a quick suggestion, maybe a new way to determine who will earn cP in a session. At the moment I've noticed some trainers determine who will get cP in the first or the first few simulations.
I would suggest a system in which trainers are to note each trainees name down, and if that trainee achieves something in the training. The trainer will award the trainee a point, whilst noting it.
At the end of the training if a trainee has passed a preset limit of points, for example 10 points. That player will earn cP. If the trainer feels that any player has done spectacularly well, then that trainee may be awarded 2 cP. |

Trainers earning cP for training members is great, as it has become harder for them to do so at this high level.
Also, Sergeants (and others) don't host unofficial trainings just because they're bored, but instead to help others out and have a good time. They also gain valuable experience of leading, and training.
Instead of training at bases I think it would be better for the occasional small event. I used to do ST vs WIJ a few times at Indigo, and teamwork activites at Cobalt (tank battles, capture the tech etc).

Ok, so do these rules apply to practices?
Because as a Corporal, I like to host 'practices', and would like to know if I have to be Sergeant for these to apply to me. |

| What about us STA Trainers? We train well but only Officers get awarded? Officers RARELY host trainings. |

| I've been trying to do sight training for weeks, but have been repeatedly told not to do it as it is not allowed! I have atleast 37 tactics and movements for Indigo 19 for Cobalt and 11 for Cerulean. I'll send them to you Via XF and possibly send you the map of Indigo to help with the details in the lists. - Sergeant SGAbrett |

Most officers like myself are usually quite busy during the day, because of school-related work, or other things relating to the real world. We all try to host trainings some times, but this constant pestering of the real world makes it difficult. Fortunately, most Sergeants and STA Trainers have spare time, which is good for them and you.
All the inactive Officers, as SS said, are being demoted. Some Officers have came out of nowhere and became very active recently, which is good for us/you but bad for SS to decide who gets demoted. I'm sure active Sergeants who are constantly training will be promoted, if they get the amount of cP needed fast. This system assists in that.

This is quite a new system. Although, Officers who want to train usually cannot because the unofficial trainings have most of the current WIJ paying any attention to the wall, so members are slim for the *official ones*. This could encourage more unofficial trainings, and would overwhelm Officer trainings. Other than that, nice. |

Love this idea. I train all the time, and would be overjoyed and honoured to have an SGT title. I cannot wait to see this new system take shape, and become great! Thanks for everything you do for WIJ, superman. On a side note, Amaz.Ant, Why did you leave WIJ?? We need more people like you! -Loggeh |

I currently have three (miht start on a fourth) bases in the making.
One will be like Sinopia but the rest will be unique.
Once I finish I hope they can become official.
:D
