Most of my games are fighting games, and a lot of them include high-paced ninja battles Falling on your head for 15 seconds or tripping over a pebble at 50 walkspeed is not very ninja like or very exciting either. Is there any way to disable the new "realistic physics". If not then ROBLOX has ruined every fast fighting game.
When you hit another players with a jutsu, both of you fall over, when you get hit with a shuriken, the shuriken blasts you backwards like you got punched by godzilla! And even if you get punched lightly at 50 walkspeed, you fall on your head spinning like some 70s disco dancing pro.
Several other great game makers I know have been troubled by this physics update, and even about to trash there games because of it! Please tell me this isn't another terrible forced update and that it can be disabled for games that don't need realistic physics. |

I don't think those physics are really realistic then...
And I don't know, it's most likely a forced update.
If you're an awesome scripter, you can do a work around, but it'd probably be laggy. |

No, there's not really any work around in this case. It isn't a matter of gravity or anything. even if something sized Vector3.new(1, 1, 1) with BodyVelocity inside it moving at around lookVector*60 speed hits you and has its BodyVelocity removed 0.001 seconds later, you'll still be sent flying.
The news talks about being hit by cars and nonsense like that, but no matter how tiny the object, it still acts like you got hit by a car! And the headslide thing is the worse!
In my new martial arts game, you get punched down and then the physics make you stay on your head as you slide along the floor being being to death before the physics decides to let you stand up. |

really? taking things to the extreme you could probably create pseudo character that acts just like the normal player would w/ a few adjusments but that would still be a bit extreme. im sure theres a few haxy things you can do to work around this though, you just have to think about it |

| Create a model controlled with WASD and appropriate motors and joints with the camera following the model's torso. I've done the camera thing, but the WASD thing might be harder. |

| Wait, why not just adding an opposing body force? |

| Well, we can't un-do updates, that was spoken by a forum moderater. Plus fighting is dead, so is roleplaying, and roblox is ment to be RPing, |
